2nd Week

Xavier turns 2 weeks and I’m very happy to be with him most of the time. He is now breastfeeding exclusively and I am glad that I can feed him directly. It is a relief that I seldom pump my milk. After 2 weeks, here I am starting to adjust with this new bundle of joy.

Yesterday was his first check up. His Pedia was so happy to see him. He is scheduled to have his first vaccine next month. Everything is normal and He is completely healthy. Thank God!

Taking care of a newborn is not easy. There are more waking hours at night and with the pain on my operation is an additional burden. There are times that is hard to move and carry him. I am thankful that hubby is with me always who helps me in taking of Xavier. If I need to rest he takes care of the baby. It’s not really easy but I believe that we can make it. I just hope that my operation will be heal soon so that I can easily move and takes care of my baby.

Gareth is also happy to be with Xavier. When we go out yesterday to have check up and went back late at night, Gareth was so excited to see his brother again. He kissed his brother with full of love. I am such a happy mom. I am happy to witness that Gareth is developing love and care to his brother.

Xavier at 2 weeks. 🙂
