Binondo

I see to it to visit the Chinese Doctor in Binondo. I visited Dr. Tan, he is a Chinese Doctor who will do his check up the traditional way. He will just check pulse and tongue and can tell if you have sickness. I am not taking any Diabetes medication but only herbal medicine from him. After I gave birth to Ayumi, my bloodsugar was so high and I tried taking meds but I don’t like the side effects so that time I was looking for alternative medicine until I found out about Dr. Tan. I went to his clinic at least ones a month and take the herbal tea. The taste is unbearable but I religiously taking it until my blood sugar goes to normal range and that was the time when I decided to get pregnant again with Xavier. Now that I stop taking insulin as my Dr. advice, I think I should take the herbal tea again.

So yesterday was our scheduled to visit Dr. Tan again. Sorry but we are not allowed to take pictures inside the clinic, I need to turn off my phone. So no picture of Dr. Tan.

As usual, my sugar is still high and I need to take the tea again while hubby constantly informing me about the pain in his upper stomach, and it is because of fatty liver. In less than 20 minutes we are done. The check up fee is 400 pesos.

Then we went to the drugstore to purchase the herbs.

If you are inside the store, you will smell the herbs and some are not so nice. Parang gusto kong humatseng kasi hindi ko maintindihan ang amoy.

We took the LRT in going to Recto then tricycle to Binondo. This is the easiest way para hindi matraffic. Iniwan na lang namin ang sasakyan sa Gateway Mall sa Cubao.

After our check up we had our late lunch:

Matagal na naming hinanap ang tindahan na yan, last time na natikman namin hindi namin natandaan kong saang street kaya kahapon hinanap talaga namin, kahit ang lakas ng ulan nag ikot ikot kami sa Binondo.

Masarap ang noodles soup, siopao and siomai.
