Brooklyn Bridge

On our last day in New York, we decided to visit the Brooklyn Bridge.

The temperature was dropping that day and we were trying so hard to fight the cold breeze. I was not used to this kind of weather but I am loving it. I can walk miles if the weather is less than 10 degree Celcius. ahhaha

There were places that we never got a chance to visit but I will definitely be coming back soon to see the beauty of the place.

Actually, so far this is the place that I want to comeback as soon as I came home. I don’t know but I find New York as my new home, somewhat my home in my past life. I know I have so much to see in New York but I am just taking it one at a time.

oh well.. just by writing this post, I am already missing the place…

Friends at New Jersey

We had a chance to meet our friends from Los Banos. Actually they become our Wedding Ninong and Ninang. They knew us since we were young ahhaha

Around year 2000 they knew us already. They were our client when we were in Laguna then they migrated to US before 2003.

When they found out that we were in New York, they contacted us and decided to meet us and they let us stay in their house for a night. It was a great reunion. We missed them so much!

We had dinner at Apple Bee’s then we went to their home tapos kwentuhan hanggang 4am.

Grabe kulang na kulang ang time talaga.

With Ninong Coco πŸ™‚

with Ninang Gem and Paolo.

We had breakfast at Ikea.

I don’t know why..

Anyway,Β  here are some of the pictures I took at New Jersey:

St. Patrick Cathedral

We lighted a candle. I say a prayer and my wishes at the same time saying my heartfelt thanks for all the blessings.

It was not an easy journey but indeed life is full of surprises..

NYC Rockefeller Center

It has a big and real Christmas Tree

It’s one of the tourist spots in New York so ang daming taon talaga.

It was so cold so I needed a hot drinks before I checked the area.

I wish to bring the kids here someday…

NYC Central Park

I see to it to visit Central Park because I always saw it on TV and I was curious about the place.

So when we reached Central Park, it was so cold and a hot chocolate is so perfect.

We got chocolate then started walking into the park.

It was a great afternoon but it started pouring so we need to move fast…

Empire State Building

Dec. 7, 2017

We decided to visit Empire State Building

Medyo nakakapagod and I hate it.

When we reached at the top it was so cold but I was amazed of the beauty from the above.

We stayed in less than 30 minutes because it was really so cold and since I’m afraid of heights, I can’t stay longer. Nahihilo ako at ang building parang gumagalaw talaga. Nakakaloka! feeling ko nagpanic attack ako that time.

Taking Subway

The reason I love traveling is that I will be out of my comfort zone and routine. When I was in New York, I prepared myself for whatever circumstances.

So I made sure to pack comfortable shoes and clothes because I know there will be a lot of walking.

But I was not so prepare in terms of taking subway. When I was traveling in other countries, I never tried the local trains and it was my first time in New York to take subway.

We get a metrocard that can be loaded.

Minsan nakakalito ang mga lines, kaya dapat you should download the apps.

Since then naging convenient na sa amin…

We go around the city by taking subway. Though minsan naliligaw kami but it’s always part of the fun in traveling.

With my friend Mycel, she was teaching us about using our Metrocard.

As the days goes by, nasanay na rin kami.

But you know what… that’s the real life.. you need to go out to experience it.

First Night in New York

The moment I stepped in New York City, I received messages from friends. They want to meet us.

So while we were traveling to our Hotel, I already a scheduled meeting with a friend and we will be meeting at the Macy’s.

Nakakaloka!

Fast paced ang beauty ko don.

With my High School Batchmate — Mycel! We’ve never seen each other I think for 6 years. πŸ™‚ Dito na namin tinuloy ang never ending chika! It was nice to see her again!

So we never stopped walking hanggang sa nakarating kami sa Times Square.

Mesmerized by the beauty of New York City πŸ™‚

Mukha na akong pagod but I can’t stop walking and taking more pictures.

Finally we arrived at Times Square! So we sealed it with a kiss!
