Treasure Mountain

My employees told me about the beauty of Treasure Mountain in Tanay. We decided to visit it and to our surprise it is really indeed a nice place.

It took us 2 hours before we reached Treasure Mountain. The view was really spectacular. I love the cold breeze.

The place was so clean and still untouched.

I really can’t believe that there are still a place in Rizal as beautiful as this one.

I realized that I need to explore Rizal often.

It was a quick time out from our fast paced daily life and it feels so good.

I think there is no need for me to go far just to relax because there’s so much more to see within my area.

All I need to do is try to get out from my comfort zone and lower my expectations. Just enjoy the places and just be in that moment.

Lately, there is so much drama around me. They wanted my attention into something that I am not really interested to.

The worst part is they are my family who are distracting me. They are trying to do something to get my attention to something that is not really my priority. I hate it.

Instead of helping me out since I have greater responsibility, they are the one who are trying to put me down.

All they want is to get my attention for their little dramas but they can’t even help me solved with my own problems.

I think it’s about time to distance myself to them. I’m so tired already.

Eversince, I made so much sacrifices for them but it seems that they will never stop of getting more. So tiring… I need to do something about it.

It’s not worth anymore. It is simply a distraction.

I need to focus myself on what’s really matters.

 

School Foundation

It’s Xavier’s School Foundation.

He sing and dance but I can’t uploaded it here. I think I have to upload it at YouTube first.

Anyway, this past few days, his school schedule was really crazy and he never got a chance to practice well but still he performed well. I am so proud of him.

 

 

 

 

 

They have this talent contests.

When Xavier saw that some junior high school went to the stage..

Xavier: Mommy you should go with them and sing.

Me: Why? (a bit surprised)

Xavier: Don’t worry Mommy, you will be fine.  (That’s what I’m telling him before he will do his activities.)

I am really amazed on how he deliver those words. He learn a lot already.

Back on Track

Friday:

I am just staying at home and realized that I was not working out for quite sometimes. I was always in a hurry this past few months. I had meetings most of the time and started some new projects so I seldom stay at home. But today is quite different. After reading books I hit the treadmill again.

I also checked my weight and it’s still 120lbs. which was my target weight since I gained 180lbs.

Some of my clothes don’t fit me quite well. It’s so big for me already and I think I need to shop new set of clothes to update my wardrobe.

It’s nice to be back on track.

I realized that I should take care of my body so that I can do my duties well.

I am now focused on my well being. I am eating right and managing my stress well. I don’t let anything affect me this time.

In the coming weeks, I will be very busy again. If only I can work for 24 hours but I know I should give myself more time to rest as well. But I am determined to keep everything working…

 

My Kind of Day

We went to the office around 7pm. We have new projects that needs our attention so much. I also wanted to stay in the office at least 3 to 4 times a week as long as it permits my schedule.

We stayed until 8:45 am since I need to wait for my 9am meeting. So we stayed more than 12 hours in the office and I was awake since 2pm. Yes my schedule is sometimes crazy, kaya minsan loka loka na rin ako. Kasalanan talaga to ng schedule ko eh.

So while at the office, I got a chance to read books. I have this little book with me from the Book Sale and I really want to finish it. It’s a good book. I will post about it ones I’m done.

Anyway, he is my look after my 12 hour shift in the office.

I need to wear my sunglasses since it was so hot already and I got a very sensitive eyes.

I also do some retouch but still I look so tired already.

We went home around 12 noon and I am ready to forget everything and just rest.

But I got some calls that I need to attend to. It took another hour…

Then finally.. the room was so dark and cold.. then I off to dreamland.

I woke up after 7 hours and feeling so refresh!

I am so thankful for the good sleep.

I had my dinner. I was so hungry. In between sleep and hungry, I always choose sleep. But when I woke up, I was already so hungry that I can even eat the whole house. LOL

 

I decided to read this book. This book was in the shelf for quite sometime and I keep on thinking about it lately. So I realized that I should finish it.

Then I found out that it is really a great book. I learn a lot from it. It even bring some tears in my eyes. Chos! Arte!

But really, natouch ako sa book na yan.

Kaya pala ang daming nagsasabi na maganda. I don’t know but somehow during high school nabasa ko na to. Nakalimutan ko lang. Ganon ako eh, sa dami ng nababasa ko nakakalimutan ko na kung ano ano yong nababasa ko.

Kaya nasabi ko na nabasa ko na sya dahil dito…

So ayan, yang line na yan may tama yan sa akin. haist!

… moving on..

After reading the book, while Xavier has his nap time, I went upstairs to work. Yes, I work all the time. Then Gareth followed me and requested to have a bath.

So everytime I don’t go to the office, he always find time to spend a moment with me. He stayed in the room and he just wanted to listen the songs I’m playing. He just stayed in his bed and just listen. But most of the time he will stay in the bath tub.

I hope someday I can build a swimming pool so Gareth will have his daily swimming because that is what he loves to do. Kahit may lagnat at ubo pa yan gusto pa rin magbabad sa tub pero pinipigilan ko lang. Yan ang pinag aawayan talaga namin. Pero most of the time pumapayag ako. Whatever makes him happy then I will let him go with it as long as he is safe. Most of the time nakabantay ako sa kanya kaya hindi nya pwedeng gawin kung hindi ako ang kasama.

Then I let them sleep while I am working.

I will be sleeping earlier today, kailangan bumawi but also I have an early meeting.

That’s it.

 

Black Panther

It’s been a while since we watched movies since we are very busy. We can’t even go out on weekends.

Until hubby keeps on bugging me about Black Panther then I realized that we should find time to go out. We deserved it.

So then last Saturday, after we met an applicant we decided to go to Eastwood and watched the movie.

We arrived around 7pm and too early for the 10pm last full show. We decided to stay at Starbucks first to chill.

 

It was a great movie and though I was tired I never slept maybe because I like the movie.

 

 

It was a quick way to relax and I miss having those date night.

 

Happiness

Here are the books I got from the Book Sale!

This simply made me so happy.

 

The Books

Now all I wanna do is stay in the room or stay in the hotel and just bring books and forget about everything.

But I really can’t do that. So I have to read books before going to bed and hopefully to finish it before the year ends.

I got a total of 25 books.

 

Sobrang sulit lahat, coz with that number of books I only paid 6,770.

I can’t wait to finish reading everything and get myself a new one.

 

Kung Hei Fat Choi 2018

Xavier went home with this lantern.

He told me that this is a Chinese Lantern for Chinese New Year that he made in School.

I am so proud of him. I’m really glad that he is really doing good in school.

 

Then I distributed Ampao to make the celebration complete.

We are not Chinese but I’m doing this for quite sometimes already. 🙂

Book Sale

When I found out about the book sale, I immediately save the date.

I never ordered books online for months since I am excited for the book sale.

The Big Bad Wolf Books Sale are still ongoing and open 24 hours a day.

 

We arrived around 7pm. We had our dinner first then went inside.

Grabe sa dami ng book, nagpalpitate ako. ahahah hindi ko alam kung saan mag start.

Then I started in Business and Economics section and I got more books from there.

When I started checking the books, I was lost. It’s like me inside a candy store.

I was so happy.

I just keep on browsing the selections and just put it in the basket while hubby keeps on following me.

Then after 3 hours, I was done and realized that the basket was already full.

Went to the Cashier and even along the way, I was still picking some books.

We’ve done around 11pm and I was already starving. I was tired of roaming the whole World Trade Center. It’s the first time ever that I had fun shopping for books.

I hope there will be more event like this but of course I need to save first!

By the way, the books were discounted up to 80% it was really the best deal ever!
