Virtual Graduation

July 25 was Xavier’s Virtual Moving Up

It was not a typical graduation but I’m glad that we made it. I’m so proud of Xavier. Actually, I don’t push him too much in getting awards because I wanted him to enjoy his Kinder life.

But he has some awards and I am so thankful! I am so proud of his achievements.

The virtual graduation started around 10am, so we need to wake him up earlier than usual so he can prepare himself. We setup the green screen and connected the laptop to our TV.

The setup was great! I am thankful to hubby for setting up everything. The green screen is very helpful everytime we have zoom meeting with our clients.

This virtual graduation is of course something new to all of us but this is great, we should always find ways to at continue our life, though we know that it is so depressing but by all means we should get up and continue living our life. Let us always look on the positive side and think of things that we can do to improve our lives.

I know someday we will look back this event and we will remember how we survived and I know that whatever circumstances we are dealing right now will make us a better person in the future as long as we will not stop innovating. So guys… just hang on and believe that this too shall pass…

Birthday Celebration

Yay, I just turned 41!

There is no other place to celebrate it but in the office — my happy place.

Since the lockdown, I seldom went to the office but since it’s my birthday, merong konting handa.

We have spicy truffle pasta and smoked ribs. My team love it so much…

This birthday is special because of the things that are happening in the world right now. Most of us somehow lost and affected by this pandemic. There were so many changes in our lives in these past months and everyone somehow affected by this pandemic.

I am thankful for the gift of life. Thankful that my my family and team are all okay. I am fervently wishing that this pandemic will be over soon.

Vanity Set

When I saw this vanity set online, I fell inlove right away. It was love at first sight LOL.

I immediately message the seller and luckily it was still available.

When it arrived, my heart skip a beat and it seems that I know these pieces. It seems that I owned this in my past life.

So I am keeping it… these little things somehow makes me feel good in this trying times.

Social Distancing

We went out to look for a new cabinet for my tea sets collection. But sad to say we didn’t find what we were looking for so we ended up eating in a nearby restaurant.

Hubby miss Ramen so much so when he saw a Ramen restaurant we just get in.

This is my order. I didn’t got a chance to take a picture of hubby’s order because he’s quite far from me. This is the new normal. We were sitting on table apart. There will be adjustments with this new normal but it’s okay, as long as it will help us protect ourselves from the virus.

Little Collection

Five years ago, I started collecting some tea sets. I ordered them online through bidding.

When we move to a new place, I stopped collecting since I don’t have enough space for them. I just placed them inside a box.

Lately, I just missed them and let them out of the box. I cleaned them and here they are.

Then I realized that I should find a cabinet to display them and start using them.

Here they are….

I just love looking at them. I seldom use them but I think I should use them often this time.

I remember when I was a kid, my parents bought me those tiny tea cups that I loved to play. When I don’t want to eat, they placed food on my toys so I can eat.

This is somehow a resemblance of my childhood.

Birthday Month

Yay! July is finally here!

Since March, I seldom go out because of this pandemic!

I had my own share of anxieties and fears.. but I learn facing it day by day.

So many things are going on in our world and so I would like to celebrate my Birthday for the whole month! This is the first time that I am excited to celebrate and I plan that every Sunday we should have a feast in our home.

This first Sunday of July here are the food we have…

I realized that I should celebrate life and enjoy life. Specially now that we are experiencing this pandemic, everything is uncertain.

I hope that this pandemic will be over soon…

Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day!

The kids prepare that Father’s Day banner!

They surprised hubby and he was so touched by their gestures.

Clint with Tito.

We had a hot pot at home for our Father’s Day celebration.

I am so thankful to have a partner that supports and understands me in everything. We are so lucky to have him and I wish him good health and happiness always.

He make sure that we are all okay. He loves cooking for us. My kids and nephews are so lucky to have him.
