Exploring Dotonbori Osaka

On our first day in Osaka, we decided to have our DIY tour to Dotonbori.

We tried using their train and it was a bit confusing…

Some of the ticket machines don’t have English translation and we need to use our phone apps to translate it.

Sometimes we even rode a different train and end us in a different station but they have this fare adjustment that we can easily exchange our tickets.

It was quite hot when we were in Japan. So most of the time I am wearing a summer outfit.

It was so humid.. but it never stopped us of going around the area.

We had lunch here at Dotonbori and it satisfying. It prepares me to do the walking..

I am so happy when hubby found this black sesame ice cream!
It is one of my favorites, when we ate at Japanese Resto in Philippines, they seldom serve this ice cream and if they do, the serving is so small. Palagi akong bitin. Pero dito sa Japan sobrang sulit.. ang dami ng servings!

The famous Don Quijote! Grabe ang laki nitong Don Q sa Osaka.. but I never explore it kasi gusto ko sa Tokyo mamili.

Napagod kakaikot kaya tumigil at nagpicture taking muna.

Busy

We are hiring and interviewing applicants weekly.

We need to complete the number of agents needed before April 8.

We are almost on our target numbers and I can’t wait to meet them all.

Though we are busy, we always make sure to have time together.

Just Chilling

So after my lab test, we stayed in the coffee shop.

That’s hubby’s order…

My order

It was bland but still okay…

I am trying to smile… yes trying to make sense of it all. Trying to be a better me despite the chaos around me.

Then I remember that next week is Valentines Day and we don’t have plan yet.. because we don’t know what to do… because we have important things to do.

Business first…

Weekend

For a long time, we never had our weekend with the kids. We never got a chance to have our weekend routine because I was so busy that even on weekends I had meetings.

But now, I am trying to make up.

So we had our dinner first…

We had so much meat that night!

then we went to Department Store and Toy store.

Sobrang daming tao sa mall, people were rushing for holidays.

I was still a bit dizzy that day…

but still I made it.

We got our company raffle giveaways.

We got also gifts for Xavier’s school party.

then we let them do the rides to have fun.

then some picture takings 🙂

ayan nagfeeling turista na naman sila.

It was a nice way to make new memories.

I wanted to create more memories with the kids.

Kasi paglaki nila, malamang may kanya kanya na silang lakad. Kaya ngayon pala lang sulitin na.

Yon din ang pinapaintindi ko sa kanila palagi that family is everything. We should prioritize family no matter what.

It was fun and tiring…

But I love it… being with them is simply happiness for me.

Spiritual Obligation

I received a call from SOM and they are asking a favor. They wanted me and hubby to be part of the confirmation of the boys.

Of course I said yes!

Mabuti na lang at maluwang ang sched ko that time.

In reality kailangan ko talaga ng spiritual guidance ngayon. Madami akong hinihintay na deal at medyo nakakastress na kasi ang tagal ng results.

It was so early. Around 9am andon na kami. Mabuti na lang at bumiyahe na kami nong gabi pa lang then just stayed in the hotel nearby.

It is also my chance to visit Fr. Al, my super hero. It’s been a while since I last visited him. Everytime I have something to ask or thanks, I always visits him. I know that he is guiding me in my journey. Alam ko yon kasi kapag gulong gulo na ako, sya ang nakakaalam ng lahat. Sana lahat ng wishes ko this time ay mangyayari.

He is so happy when I went home earlier than usual.

Xavier: Mommy, I was so worried.

Me: Why?

Xavier: Because you went home late. I am thinking of you.

I never thought that I will feel this away again. He is so expressive for his feelings and I love it.

Gareth is always happy everytime he went to the grocery with his dad.

He picked up items that his brother likes.

I am so lucky having him. He is so sweet to everyone.

Just Chilling

I need my Me time and it was right on time because I don’t have any meetings.

For the longest time I wanted to use this cherry blossom bath bomb and finally I got a chance.

I like the scent of this bomb and so perfect to uplift my mood.

I stayed 30 minutes in the tub while reading book and listening to good music.

This somehow rejuvenate me and ready to face the world again.

Padre Pio Shrine

Saturday

I wanted to visit Padre Pio Shrine in Eastwood. We arrived around 4pm to attend the mass.

Then went inside the church to view the relics and had my personal prayer.

So many things are going on lately and I need some miracles.

I believe that God will provide. I know that what I am praying for will be granted in a right time.

It was a sunny day and somehow helps me feel better.

I’ve been inside the house for 2 days and it seems that the burden was not lessen so I just decided to go out.

And it somehow made me feel better.

I am hoping for a miracle… I hope it will happen soon.

If I choose over mountains or beach, I always have the beach.

Beach can make me feel good. It takes all my worries away.

It is essential for my well being.

During breakfast

A very rare moment that Gareth sits down with me. He got tired of swimming and rested for a while, so I took the moment to have our picture together.

Just resting and I was reading through Kindle. I never finished a book because I need to look after the kids. They are so demanding.

Then hubby asked me to pose in the beach. He is really the one in charge of taking pictures of me. It’s a hit or miss type and he is learning to take good pictures and I appreciate him for that.

He said that I should have my photoshoot session before we headed back to the hotel.

It shows in my face that though it was a quick getaway, somehow I relaxes.

Road Trip

June 5, 2018

We decided to have a road trip all the way to Laiya Batangas.

It was a fine day. Less traffic and the weather was good.

Arrived at Laiya around 3pm. Then we explore the place.

We checked the Porto Laiya and it was a nice place. A potential vacation place.

After checking Porto Laiya, we were starving. Actually, I never got a good sleep the night before so I was sleeping the whole trip. When we were approaching Batangas it was raining and the more I can’t control my eyes. Natulog ako sa buong byahe.

Kahit papano nakapagrelax na rin ako. Hindi talaga ako natutulog sa byahe pero nong time na yon sobrang hindi ko na kayang pigilan. Wala na akong pakialam.

Then we had lomi and goto. It was very satisfying.

Then headed home and preparing our summer getaway.
