It was announced last year and I was so excited that they will be returning in Manila after in Cebu and Davao.

So, I know that I should be adding more books specially when I found out that they will be 70-90% discount sale!

So on the 3rd day, we finally decided to come.

We went around 12 midnight and arrived around 1am. No traffics since it was holiday.

When we arrived in World Trade Center in Pasay, it happened that I met a friend. Then we had our picture taking then we headed inside but we need to prepare ourselves for the long queue so had our merienda first.

We had sandwich and coffee first then we started shopping…

Wow!! heaven!

After an hour of checking the books we finally decided to start joining the line to the cashier…

It took us 1 hour to reach to the cashier..

whew!

Finally we are near to the cashier.. I was already sleepy. It was already 4am.

Here are the new books! We can’t wait to finish reading it the whole year!

then we reached home around 6pm.

So far, they are more organized this year than in their previous visit in Manila and there were many choices. I so love this book sale and I can’t wait for next time. 😀

I ordered books from Amazon last July 20 and just this morning I got my orders.

I like ordering books from Amazon because it’s a lot cheaper than NBS or Fullybooked, but the downside was I need to wait for at least a month.

But I also bought books from local bookstore if I really like something.

I can finish reading 3 books at almost the same time. I make sure to read at least 2 chapters per day then before I knew it I’m already done.

When these new books arrived, I cleaned up my side table where I store the books I’m done to give space to a new pieces.

This week is a little bit hectic and stressful. I feel so down lately. I’m so tired of the things that’s happening around me. I’m waiting for so many things to happen and it’s really affecting my mood. I don’t want to go out. I just want to go to the office or stay in the house. I don’t want to talk to other people unless it’s very important. But when my books arrived, somehow it changes my mood. There is something to look forward to read.

I still have so many books unread and I am just taking my time. So maybe I will stop ordering books for 2 months until I’m done with almost half of what I have right now. I still have around 20 books to read. I wish I have extra eyes.

 

I ordered Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain when I found out about his death on June. I was really affected by his death. When I was experiencing depression, his shows somehow helps  me recover. I just miss him. I miss watching his shows.

While I was reading his book, I miss him more. I can still hear his voice and imagine his facial expressions while reading the book. He is indeed a great story teller.

 

I got this book from the Big Bad Wolf Sale because I miss New York and the more I spent time reading this book, it made me miss New York more.

I started reading this book yesterday and I like it as soon as I read the few pages.

The Books

Now all I wanna do is stay in the room or stay in the hotel and just bring books and forget about everything.

But I really can’t do that. So I have to read books before going to bed and hopefully to finish it before the year ends.

I got a total of 25 books.

 

Sobrang sulit lahat, coz with that number of books I only paid 6,770.

I can’t wait to finish reading everything and get myself a new one.

 

When I found out about the book sale, I immediately save the date.

I never ordered books online for months since I am excited for the book sale.

The Big Bad Wolf Books Sale are still ongoing and open 24 hours a day.

 

We arrived around 7pm. We had our dinner first then went inside.

Grabe sa dami ng book, nagpalpitate ako. ahahah hindi ko alam kung saan mag start.

Then I started in Business and Economics section and I got more books from there.

When I started checking the books, I was lost. It’s like me inside a candy store.

I was so happy.

I just keep on browsing the selections and just put it in the basket while hubby keeps on following me.

Then after 3 hours, I was done and realized that the basket was already full.

Went to the Cashier and even along the way, I was still picking some books.

We’ve done around 11pm and I was already starving. I was tired of roaming the whole World Trade Center. It’s the first time ever that I had fun shopping for books.

I hope there will be more event like this but of course I need to save first!

By the way, the books were discounted up to 80% it was really the best deal ever!

I finally find time to read this. It’s about time to learn more about financial planning. Time to feed my mind. 😀

I think I need a break. It’s been weeks that I was so busy attending our new projects, the Furrple and uShopNow, so I finally got a chance to read a new book.

I was browsing a bookstore then I finally got this one. I wanted something that will inspires me and this is the perfect one.

Upon reading this book, I realized that I still have so much to do and what I am experiencing right now is just so normal. As a business owner, it is really normal to experience hardships. Without hardships I know I will not grow wiser and it definitely make me think of something new for the company.

I am somehow thankful for all the difficulties that I’ve experienced so far. I also realized that if you are passionate enough for your business, I think no one can bring you down.

If you are someone like me and experiencing difficulty as of the moment, then I want you know to just hold on because sooner or later, everything will be okay.
