>My Tuesday…

>I forgot to pay my internet bill and when I woke up to check my email I was so upset because I can’t log in then realized that I miss paying the bill. So here I am in the coffee shop with free wifi. This is the advantage of having a laptop because I can work anywhere specially in a situation like this.

I left while Gareth is sleeping and my brother is the one taking care of him. He is quite okay now. Thanks God!

My husband went to smart office to pay our internet bill. hahay!

I had my interview an hour ago right in the time that I arrive here in the coffee shop. It’s a commission base work and I hope I can do the job. I really wish! The pay is high but depends on my work. I hope I can do this. At first I am hesitant to accept the job but when they discuss the system I fully understand. My client is impress in my profile and wanted me to be part of the company and who am I to say NO?? I will definitely try this…

I am also waiting for the payment of my boss. Well it’s been 3 months but until now I haven’t receive the payment. So sad… I really need it now and he just keep on promising. He told me that the payment is on process and I will receive the notice today. I hope so!

>Random…

>I only have one active task for today and I am looking forward receiving new tasks or get a new client this week. As a freelancer there are times that I have more task and dry moments so it is very important to save. I think it’s about time to learn something new so that I can find a job with a higher pay. I am still saving for it since taking up short course is also expensive.

Anyway, Gareth has diarrhea since yesterday and I am monitoring his food intake. He is still super active and as if he is not experiencing diarrhea but I am still so worried because this happen before and I hope he will feel better soon.

>Over…

>OMG, due to cold weather this afternoon I over sleep. I woke up 4pm and Gareth is beside me and asking me to hug him and put our blanket on.

I sleep well as if I am nothing to do. So here I am trying to figure out on how to finish my 3 tasks at the same time. It’s a task outside oDesk so I can do this without worrying the screenshots. I can multitask…

so no worries…

>Offer Unaccepted….

>I got an interview today. I applied for SEO work and he offered me $150/month. Honestly I really want the job but we don’t agree on the amount. I need to work full time for the work, meaning 8 hours a day and 6 days a week. The rate is not right. I am doing SEO work for a higher rate in a part time work. I am just sad that some are taking advantage. I have a reasonable rate but this one is really not enough. It’s a right job but not so right rate.

If you are doing SEO work I know that you will agree with me. Doing SEO work is so time consuming and pain in the ass and I guess I deserve better rate… what do you think?

>Homebody Again

>Since I came home last January 15 I never got a chance to go out. I am focus on looking for new work.

Everytime I don’t have enough work I see to it to have time to my son and he is so happy every time I spend time playing to him every afternoon.

We are also considering of taking programming lesson so that we can get a better job. I think it’s about time to learn new things. This is how we cope up crisis and I hope you guys have better ideas too.

>Why You Are Not Rich?

>
Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren’t rich:

You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don’t view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.

You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.

You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.

You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. If you find you’re always saying there will be time to save and invest in a couple more years, you’ll wake up one day to find retirement is just around the corner and there is still nothing in your retirement account.

You don’t do what you enjoy: While your job doesn’t necessarily need to be your dream job, you need to enjoy it. If you choose a job you don’t like just for the money, you’ll likely spend all that extra cash trying to relieve the stress of doing work you hate.

You don’t like to learn: You may have assumed that once you graduated from college, there was no need to study or learn. That attitude might be enough to get you your first job or keep you employed, but it will never make you rich. A willingness to learn to improve your career and finances are essential if you want to eventually become wealthy.

You buy things you don’t use: Take a look around your house, in the closets, basement, attic and garage and see if there are a lot of things you haven’t used in the past year. If there are, chances are that all those things you purchased were wasted money that could have been used to increase your net worth.

You don’t understand value: You buy things for any number of reasons besides the value that the purchase brings to you. This is not limited to those who feel the need to buy the most expensive items, but can also apply to those who always purchase the cheapest goods. Rarely are either the best value, and it’s only when you learn to purchase good value that you have money left over to invest for your future
Your house is too big: When you buy a house that is bigger than you can afford or need, you end up spending extra money on longer debt payments, increased taxes, higher upkeep and more things to fill it. Some people will try to argue that the increased value of the house makes it a good investment, but the truth is that unless you are willing to downgrade your living standards, which most people are not, it will never be a liquid asset or money that you can ever use and enjoy.

You fail to take advantage of opportunities: There has probably been more than one occasion where you heard about someone who has made it big and thought to yourself, “I could have thought of that.” There are plenty of opportunities if you have the will and determination to keep your eyes open.

You Are a Career Girl!

You may not be a CEO yet, but you’re well on your way to success.

You take your career seriously, and you wouldn’t stop working for any guy!

An independent woman, you pay for your own car, clothes, and housing.

And men appreciate that – at least, the ones as driven as you are.

>I’m Still Here

>I’m still here…

Finally I got a new job and it’s full time but I don’t know yet if its for long term so while I have the task I have to focus on it.

I have two active full time work right now and I need to work 14 hours a day for me to finish my task on time. I had fun… easy job for now but need much of my time. I might be working until next week so meaning no holidays but of course I still have to go out with my family.. it is just a matter of time management.

Yesterday we went to Shangrila because we are craving for seafood soup. I also bought a new gladiator sandals, I will post picture next time.

After going out… I got hired for my new job.. at least I got a day off. Unpredictable talaga ang buhay ng freelancer. πŸ˜€

So Happy…

Here are some of our pics…

>Career Update

>I am still looking for additional task and I got some interview invitations but since it’s weekend I need to wait until Monday for the results of my application and I hope I’ll get a new one soon!

Well, for those of you who knows about PHP or CSS please leave a comment because my client is looking for help but sad to say I don’t have any knowledge about those things.

Yesterday, I got a chance of meeting my virtual officemates. The freelancers of Metro Manila. πŸ˜€ We had our Christmas party at Shang and it was great. It’s nice meeting new people that we have the same passion and almost the same story. We are planning of meeting at least every month, for us to have a social life at least…

It’s so cold here in my place and I am so thankful that I am staying here because I can still enjoy the cool wind and breeze. I simply love it… and it keeps me focus on my work.
