Just at Home

It’s raining the whole day and instead of going out since it’s Sunday, I decided to just stay at home. I don’t want to expose the kids in this bad weather so all we have to do is watch tv and eat.

After I realized that I eat too much already, I decided to start biking again. Actually, I am into it for 2 weeks already and the first week was the worst. Sobrang sakit ng buo kong katawan. Nanibago talaga ako. So, when I can’t get up and walk properly, I went to the spa and had my massage.

So our Sunday is just staying at home. I helped Gareth with his assignments. This big school thing is still new to us and I think as a parent, we are also adjusting, not just on his schedule but also with school activities. I never knew that the school has twitter account that sometimes they will just announce school activities through twitter. I just followed the school twitter account and registered to Parentline para maupdate ako sa mga nangyayari sa school.

At eto pa, hindi ako madalas nagchecheck ng twitter, so dapat pala  nakabukas na yong twitter ko as soon as I open my laptop.

How’s your weekend?

Time to Slow Down

Having a 3 month old baby is not easy. It seems that I can’t do anything anymore because I need to be with him 24/7. It is a fulfilling job to be with my kids but as a business owner, I also need to focus on my business. I need to take a time to look after my business even staying at home. I am just glad that I can do staff meetings at home.

But… soon I will be coming up something big so all I have to do now is just relax and wait for that moment.

Since I am very workaholic, so staying at home and not doing so much is really a big challenge for me.. but I am keeping it easy. So while I am taking it easy, here I am just taking most of my time taking care of the kids, doing my crochet and of course doing some paintings which I now learn to like.

I make sure that while I am staying at home, I am still productive and most of all doing the things that I really love.

Just today, I am staying the whole day inside the room because I’ve been reading a blog that I just discovered then later at night I need to go the spa because I need to interview some new applicants for the spa. I just love that I can do things what I love most at the same time I am still doing my business.

Being with my kids is what my desire… I just love everytime I witness all their firsts. 🙂

I believe that really there is rainbow after the storm. 🙂

What’s Inside My Bag?

I got inspired posting the things inside my bag when I saw some blogs doing the same thing. My items are just simple and basic.

I have the following:

1. Combs

2. My Red Liz Claiborne wallet. I am using it since 2006 and I think I should change it soon.

3. Keyboard Kindle – I got it as a gift from my husband, I think 4 years ago. This is where I saved my books from Amazon. This is very useful specially if I travel and I don’t want to bring too much books.

4. Rayban Shades – I think I got it 2 years ago. When I got it, I never got interested in any other shades. 🙂

5. Pen – I always keep my pen onhand if I need to issue cheques.

6. Eye Shadows and Face Powder – That is my basic make up and goes with me wherever I go.

7.  Contact Lens Case and Natural Tear – I keep it handy since I am using contact lens for more than a year now.

8. Nars Blush On – This is my favorite and I order it at Sephora.

9. Baby wipes – from the moment I got a baby, I first inlove with wipes.

10. Business Card Box – This is where I keep my business cards,  I always end up giving my card if someone is interested about my business. 🙂

11. BB Cream – I am using BB cream for more than 4 years already and I never change a brand since then.

12. Make up brush – I keep this handy because most of the time I put my make up on at the car.

13. Ipad pen – hubby got it for me everytime I am using my iPad since I am trying to learn how to draw.

14. Eyebrow makeup, concealer (which I used under my eyes), Mac lippies, Mac Mascara.

15. Samsung Headphone – I seldom used this one.

16. Rosary – I got this from a friend. This is Pope John Paul rosary from Rome. Ang bango nito. 🙂

17. Travelers Prayer from Antipolo Shrine – everytime I travel I see to it to say a little prayer.

18. Car Keys – Of course I have this always with my Mickey Mouse Keychain I got from Hong Kong.

Friday Night Out

I decided to take the kids to their pedia last Friday for the scheduled vaccines but the Doctor was absent so we decided to bring the kids to The Fort.

Since it’s Friday, it was expected that traffic is everywhere, so I see to it to have food inside the car because having a diabetes is not easy and you should have keep your food handy.

We stayed at The Fort until 8pm and since it’s very humid, we can’t stay longer outside which I wish I can.

After staying at The Fort, we went to spa and have my much needed whole body massage.

How’s your weekend?

Summer is Over

I feel sad because summer is really over. It’s raining for 2 days and I know I can’t go out anymore for walking. So we decided to have our walk inside the mall or just do our stationary bike at home. I don’t want to go to at the gym anymore because I can’t leave Xavier at home but it doesn’t mean that I can’t have my regular exercise anymore because I should always find ways.

Last weekend, while I was having my tiangge shopping at Eastwood and I wanted to buy a top, a saleslady asked if I am pregnant. I just smiled and informed her that I just given birth. But hey! I hate it… but I have nothing else to do but smile and hoping that the next time I will shop, my tummy is smaller and firmer or else I will continue shopping at the maternity section. LOL

So I decided to purchase a tummy trimmer and I hope it will really work.

I got this AB Rocket and I hope it will help me on my tummy issues. 🙂

So while the rain continue to pour, I have to content myself with this new machine.

Juice ko!

I decided to try juice. I read so much about it and I got very interested, but knowing me, I really don’t have time to make my own juice and of course I am not sure of the right combination so I did some research and finally I decided to order online through Pure Jus. If you want to order you can check it at Instagram, where I do a lot of my shopping.

We got 9 bottles because I want hubby to try it too. I know this will help my system flush the toxins away and I hope my tummy will be healthy this time because most of the time I am hungry and I know it’s not normal. Anyway, the juice is delicious and nourishing.

Then after taking our order at The Fort, we decided to stay at our favorite coffee shop then we walked around the area.

Then we need to go back home early because Gareth had fever and I need to check on him from time to time.

Busy Weekends

It was a busy weekends with my family. I decided to go back to the Traditional Chinese doctor at Binondo and I am taking my herbs. I also had my hBA1c test and so far my result is quite higher which is 8% and the normal range is between 4-5%. I will religiously taking my herbs now and I will have my hba1c test after 3 months and I hope I will hit the normal range or lowered my blood sugar. I will keep you all posted.

After our Binondo Tour, which I enjoyed because I got a chance to ride LRT again because taking our car to Binondo means long traffic and wasted hours so we just parked our car at Gateway Mall then take LRT going to Recto and riding a tricycle to Binondo and in less than an hour we are already at our destination which saves us traveling time.

On Sunday, I personally checked my spa therapists. They had actual exam with me and so far I am happy. We are offering a month training to all our therapists and getting a right staff is sometimes hard but I am happy that I got a right people. After the training, we had mass then dinner.

I realized that I should post more often and focus on the good things or happy days only. I should write more about things that made me happy just like those postings 100 happy days on their instagram.

Watch out for it…

It’s Been a While…

I stop driving since the day I found out that I was pregnant with Xavier because that time I was always sleepy and I don’t feel like going anywhere alone. Two months after giving birth, I am driving again and so far I love it. I miss doing it. I never thought that I will love driving but with hubby’s help, I am now starting to enjoy it.

It gives me freedom to visit my businesses without the hassle of asking hubby to take me out. 🙂

Busy…

I am not blogging lately because I am very busy with our Summer Getaway. We have 2 getaways for a week and the preparation is really keeping us busy. Aside from that, Xavier is very demanding lately, he starts smiling and talking to us so we are really giving him all our attentions. Gareth also is very active everytime we are out so we need to watch him all the time specially if he is in the pool or at the beach.

I will post about our getaway on my next post to catch up…

See you!
