Are you the Introvert Type?

"How to Interact with an Introvert." Being a fellow introvert, this is completely true. Educate yourselves.

I have staffs that are introvert and well, I think my husband is also an introvert type. Though I am noisy and most of the time loves talking, I have this passion to those who are introvert because somehow I am introvert too. I can easily start a conversation with them without trying so hard.

Some of our friends and relatives are so shy to talk to my husband because he is silent type. He don’t usually go out with friends. He is contented to be with me. I feel lucky that he is like that but I also wish that he has more friends but I really can’t force him. He just love to stay at home, do his computer works and watch TV series he downloaded.

Now that I have a spa, I also have some therapists who are introvert type but I am glad that they are now trying to open up. It is just a matter of giving them time to cope up with the new environment.

My New Painting – Pink Clouds

Painting is my new hobby. I started months ago after the death of my daughter. This is my therapy. I just paint whatever I like. I don’t take any course or studies about painting. I just bought the canvas, brushes and colors.

Here’s my latest creation:

Its a pink cloud with gold sun rays.

It took me 2 days to finish it but not continuous. I just do it whenever I feel like doing it. No pressure…

But hubby requested that I should paint more because our house needs more artwork. He don’t want to purchase new art but I told him that he should wait because sometimes, I am not in the mood of doing it.

Night Out

Last night, I scheduled a night out with our Spa Therapist. We went to Dampa sa Libis because they wanted to check my items and I let them shop in my little shop. Of course payable every payday. They had fun choosing outfits.

Then we had our dinner. Some of them never tried the food in Dampa. So here are our order:

Lato Salad.

Buttered Shrimp.

We also order Sinigang and adobong pusit.

After our stay at Dampa sa Libis, we went to Eastwood. I let them explore the place. Some of them don’t have time to visit places like Eastwood.

It was a great bonding time because we had a chance to talk and joke around.

They are like a family to me.

Typhoon Maring

For 3 days, we experienced non stop rains and it caused flood to some areas of Metro Manila. We are living in Antipolo City and we are very thankful that we are not affected by the flood. I am praying so hard that the rain will stop pouring because I worried to those who are affected of the flood.

That is South Luzon Express Way. It looks like a river.

Some of the main road are not passable so there are no works and classes. The nearby provinces also affected and need more food and clothes.

Since, we cannot go out, we just stayed in our house and just monitor the news by watching TV and chatting with my friends and relatives. I constantly checking on my relatives because they are on the lower area. I am thankful that they are not affected.

Me and hubby got a chance to watch all our downloaded movie and TV series, so we had our little bonding time.

I am praying that tomorrow the sun will shine. No more rains and no more floods.

You can read more about the typhoon through this site.

Each Day is a Gift

I found it at FB and I would like to share it here. The time is so perfect because I needed a story like this so much.

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. “I love it,” she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.

“Mrs. Jones, you haven’t seen the room …. just wait.”

“That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” she replied. “Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged, it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I’ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I’ve stored away, just for this time in my life.”

She went on to explain, “Old age is like a bank account, you withdraw from what you’ve put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing.”

And with a smile, she said: “Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.”

Great Weekend

How’s your weekend?

About me, I have a great weekends. Me and hubby have our weekly date. We watched The Breaking Dawn 2 at Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City. We went there around 2pm but we were able to watch the movie around 10:4o PM! Since we really love the movie, we waited for it and while waiting we watched Gary Valenciano’s Concert.

It was a great time spending time with hubby. We are always looking forward for weekends so that we can spend a little time together.
