Mommy says, \u201cBaby, Baby, where did you go?\u201d
\n\u201cWon\u2019t you please tell me\u2026I\u2019ve just got to know?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mommy asks, \u201cWhere did you go Baby that you cannot be found?\u201d
\nBaby says, \u201cLook not for me here Mommy, for I am Heaven bound.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am way up here where the trumpets herald and the Angels sing,
\nAnd I sit upon the lap of Jesus the King.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesus said, \u201cHe had a special job for me, and that it couldn\u2019t wait.\u201d
\n\u201cGuess what? He even met me with Great Granny at the great big pearly gate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd even for a while Jesus gave to me His hand to hold,
\nAnd up upon my head Mommy, He placed a ring of gold.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy steadfast gaze on all the miles to roam,\u201d
\nJesus bent down and whispered, \u201cThis is your new home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy days were all numbered, but not counted on earth below,
\nBut I am up here, Mommy I just thought you should know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mommy says, \u201cBaby how shall I find you, now that you\u2019ve left my side?\u201d
\nBaby says, \u201cOh, you\u2019ll know it\u2019s me Mommy, I\u2019ll have my arms held open wide.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe gave to us\u2026each other for a time and a while,
\nUntil He formed on my face\u2026a precious little smile.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love you so much Mommy from my head down to my feet,
\nI\u2019ll be here waiting with Jesus, until the two of us should meet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBaby, Baby\u201d, Mommy says, \u201cWhere did you go?\u201d
\nBaby says, \u201cI went up to Heaven from the earth down below.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look to the heavens and see all the starry hosts, it\u2019s me,\u201d Baby saying,
\n“Mommy, I love you the most!”<\/p>\n

\u201cI know I can\u2019t be with you, and you probably can\u2019t dry your eyes,
\nBut Mommy, please know that way up here in Heaven, your tears are changed to lullabies.\u201d
