Life Update

Last night, President Duterte ordered a lockdown in Metro Manila. There were some cases in NCR and some nearby provinces. It simply caused panic almost to everyone. We can’t buy any alcohol in the pharmacies and nearby supermarkets. People are hoarding food and everyone seems restless.

Schools are now closed, they cancelled classes until next month and that is good. The kids are now staying at home and I am observing them. Two days ago, the kids had allergies so as soon as I heard them coughing or have colds, I immediately let them take medicines. Now they are already okay. Thank goodness!

About me, yes I am worried but I don’t panic. I make sure that my people are well taken care of. I provided Vitamin C for everyone and we clean our office every hour. I have utility staff to do that and I provide cleaning materials and alcohols. If my employee is not feeling well, we don’t let them come to the office. As of now, there’s no one in Antipolo who got affected. So, we are safe but we really can’t be sure. We can’t let our guard down in this kind of situation.

All we need to do now is boost our immune system. Eat the right food, take enough rest and take vitamins C. Personally, taking rest is really important. I feel weak if I don’t get enough sleep. We don’t go to any public places anymore.

I pray and hope that this corona virus pandemic will be over soon and no more deaths. I hope that all those who are affected will be cure soon and no one will be affected.

Lord God, please protect us always.

Farmer’s Market at Cubao

As a preparation for Xavier’s 2nd Birthday we went to Farmer’s Market to get some fresh seafood.

We got this fresh shrimp and fish.

If you are looking for fresh tahong then this is a the best placee 🙂 Gumagalaw pa ang ibang tahong.

I also bought some fresh flowers. Oh I so love them!

We wanted to have a Filipino food, somewhat comforting because I feel that I am overly stress out this week. So many meetings and seminars and sometimes we need to do it out of town. We went to Eastwood and tried Crisostomo.

I just love this very sinful thing.. hahahaha

We also have this sinuglaw 🙂

Sinigang sa sampalok, as in kita talaga namin ang sampalok, at hindi talaga sila gumamit ng powder.

Wow the buko juice is really refreshing. Grabe miss ko na to.

My date… 🙂

Papal Visit

I only watched Pope’s visit on TV at inggit na inggit ako kasi hindi ko man lang nakita si Pope ng personal. I know I can’t make it because I was down in flu during His visit. As much as I wanted to see him, I was still weak that time. Ang taas ng lagnat ko with matching coughs and colds at ang sakit pa ng katawan ko. Sayang talaga…  Maybe, not a perfect time yet.

I loved Pope’s smile. It is really contagious. Everytime I hear him speak parang sobrang touched na touched ako. Nakakaiyak talaga.

This is one of my favorites.

I know someday makikita ko din in person si Pope at dapat  may selfie kami. 🙂

I am so thankful that he visited Philippines. Grabe talaga at sobrang nakakatuwa.

Nanbantei Restaurant

I was craving for Japanese Food, so when I had my meeting at BGC Taguig, I looked around then we found Nanbantei. The restaurant is still new. I like the ambiance. The waiters are friendly and the food are so good.

We order a Platter and to our surprise madami pala…

Medyo nahirapan kaming ubusin ang order namin. I even ordered Tempura pero hindi na kaya kasi sobrang busog na kaya take out na lang namin ang tempura.

Since the meeting was moved later that day, we had enough time to dine in pero yon nga after it, sobrang busog na kami at gusto ko ng matulog. eheheh

Para hindi ako antukin naglakad lakad kami while waiting for my friend.

Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston opened for the first time here in the Philippines recently and I really made it sure to visit the store because I am curious.

When I enter the store, I fall in love. I don’t want to go out anymore. I love each pieces displayed. But, I need to control myself… I don’t have extra money because I am shopping not for myself this time.

I will get something maybe next month.

I love those tea sets. 🙂

I also wanted those notepads. It will definitely make my home office looks more girly. 🙂

I like this baby plates, I think this is so perfect for Xavier since he is now into solid food. 🙂

Those baby suits are good for Xavier too. I like the prints and I will definitely get something for my kids next time.

Of course those bags! Those are perfect as my everyday bag. I am also eyeing a weekend bag for my getaway. 🙂

The pieces are really amazing and I can’t wait to get to go back… .

Mini Shabu Shabu

After my meeting at Greenbelt Makati, we decided to drop by at BGC to have dinner.

We decided to try the Mini Shabu Shabu because we want something hot. It always makes us feel good kapag magshabu shabu kami kasi don lang talaga mas naiinitan ang tyan namin. It is just comforting for us.

I have a single order of mix meat pero pareho na kaming nabusog ni hubby.

We also had our favorite Sashimi kaya lang this time hindi ko masyadong naenjoy kasi mas gusto ko yong soup.

The ambiance was perfect as well. We will definitely come back here again. 🙂

Hubby loves Ramen and constantly finding the best Ramen in the Metro Manila. He read some reviews and researched for different restaurants. We tried different restos already but it seems that he found the best at Ippudo.

It is located at the new building of Megamall. We checked the restaurant around 4pm, not the peak time so we luckily get a place as soon as we arrived.

Hubby’s order is Akamaru Ramen.

Since, I am not a Ramen lover, I have this rice with fish. It was so delicious. Naubos ko nga eh.

Soy Pannacota – I like this, not so sweet.

I also order Pork Bun, I forgot to take picture kasi kinain ko na agad and I like it too.

We love the food and the service. We will definitely going back here and try the other menus.
