>I’m still Here

>I am still here.. busy for so many things. 🙂

Last week a friend of mine from Austria asked me to process her papers so I got a chance to visit Austrian embassy and it was great though I was very tired because I woke up early.
We also got a chance to visit Greenbelt 5. We had our lunch at Pepper Lunch. It was a great Friday together.
“Pillow” is now 13 weeks and so far I don’t have much cravings. I don’t feel the morning sickness anymore. It’s more relaxing and I can focus on my work. I am now waiting to feel the movement and I hope I can feel it soon.
How are you?

>Just an update…

>This is quite a very late post.

Last week I had my first ultrasound and so happy that my baby is perfectly healthy. We saw those tiny hands and as if our little “Pillow” is waving us.
My OB asked me to have my Glucose test at the end of this month and I hope that it’s normal. I am on a diet now.. meaning no more sweets as much as possible. I hope I can do it.
It’s also a busy week for us and that is the reason that I don’t have enough time to post new article but of course I will try to post as much as I can.
Well, I am planning of purchasing a breast pump because I am planning to breastfeed full time this time and hopefully I have enough cash next month for it.

>The Trouble of First Trimester

>It’s a busy and tiring week for us. Last Wednesday we went home to Laguna and meet my friend. We had a great time. She is also pregnant like me and we are both in our first trimester. It’s nice to meet her again. We share our experiences in this pregnancy but she is suffering her morning sickness terrible than mine.

Each day I feel so heavier. I was already on a heavy side even before I got pregnant and now that I am pregnant again my tummy is quite bigger even though I am still on my first trimester. I wanted to eat every after 2 hours. Sometimes I just want to eat whatever is available. I promised to myself that after this first trimester I will lessen my rice and eat more protein, vegetables and fruits to prevent gestational diabetes that I experienced during my first pregnancy.
I am also aiming of reaching my 50hours of work weekly and believe me I can easily reach it if I don’t have this laziness in me lately. It’s really hard but I can’t do anything but to give in what my body wants. If I feel sleepy I easily shut down my laptop and take a nap. Well, this is one of my freedom as a work at home mom.

>Week 10

>How far along? 10 weeks
Total weight gain: I am not sure
Sleep: yes, I need to sleep at least 12 hours for me to function well
Best moment this week: New Year
Movement: None so far.
Food cravings: Passion Fruit, strawberries, crabs
Gender: I don’t know yet
What I miss: I miss undisturbed sleep.
What I am looking forward to:

I am looking forward for my next OB visit on January 15 to finally see the baby for the first time.

>Prenatal Check Up

>Last Friday I had my first prenatal checkup. It was fun because I met my OB again. We had a great time. She is so excited of my 2nd pregnancy.

I will be meeting her again next month.

>Cravings

>

Today I am craving strawberries and longganiza from Cebu.

I am glad that I found fresh strawberries and longganisa in Shopwise.
That simply made my day.

>Morning Sickness Attack

>

I have my morning sickness attack at night and everytime I want to puke I asked my husband to get me an orange. It helps a lot.

By the way, I also texted my OB that I will be visiting her soon. 🙂
My boss increased my weekly limit to 50 hours so I need to reach that goal and so far I am nearing 30 hours. So I still have 3 more days to go. Of course I am always willing to stop, especially if I really need to take a rest. So while I still have the power to do my work I have to.
