Everyone is talking about Forever, because of the Forevermore teleserye. So here I am, I travel a lot and been to beaches the whole time and to think that in summer is really forever in the Philippines.
Just when I thought that my summer getaway is done after my El Nido tour, I was wrong because I got invitations from my college friends for some bonding.
My college friend who work at US is now here in the Philippines for a short vacation and it’s our bonding time. Last week, is also the birthday of my college friend and we also had our get together. But Reggie was not with us during Jackson’s Birthday so we decided to have a separate bonding time at Laiya Batangas.
This is during Jackson’s birthday at Los Banos Laguna private pool. It was a surprise birthday party. 🙂
Since Reggie is here, we planned our get together before he will be occupied so much with his other activities. We decided to have it at Laiya, Batangas.

After in Laiya Beach, we decided to spend the night at Jackson’s Residence in Los Banos, Laguna.

Inuman na! I had a bottle of Tanduay Ice only while they finished a bottle of Jack Daniels but hubby had San Mig light only. We are not really a drinker because I don’t like the effect of alcohol and hubby had allergies.
How the friendship started?
During our first sem in college, I met Reggie and Jackson. I can’t exactly recall how we become close but I remember that we are always together during breaktime and everytime we go home. Both of them are really achievers, they are really good in academics. We are unseparable back then and later on I helped them to get the contact numbers of their crushes. Sometimes, it is hard to have guy bestfriends lalo na kung gusto mong mag emote, naku wala silang time sa ganyan. Dumating din sa time na parang hirap akong mag open sa kanila kasi nga lalaki sila, hindi nila alam yong feeling ko. Parang that time ang babaw lang talaga ng samahan namin kasi parang puro academics at lovelife lang ang buhay namin. May time pa nga na hindi namin alam kung paano kami nakasurvive non sa sobrang baba talaga ng baon namin na halos hati hati kami sa ulam. Minsan pa nga wala kaming pamasahe at kailangan naming maglakad pauwi, dinadaan na lang namin sa kwentuhan para hindi kami mapagod. May time pa nga na kulang din ang mga pambayad namin sa tuition, kaya tulungan kami sa pag gawa ng promissory note. Grabe ngayon ko lang naisip na sobrang daming hirap pala ang dinanas namin.
After 2 years of being together for almost everyday, I decided to stop studying, sobrang hirap ng buhay ko non at hindi ko na kayang pagsabayin ang pag aaral at pagwork. Gusto ko sanang ituloy pero hindi na kaya ng katawan ko, kaya mas pinili ko magwork muna sa factory and I was so sad back then. But our friendship never ended, I see to it to visit them ones in a while. But eventually we lost contact when they started working. I was so busy back then working and building my career and I never got a chance to see them.
When we met again, it feels like we never lost contact. We just update our lives and since then we never lost connections. Thanks to Social media! Facebook is really our tools to keep in touch. Reggie is now working in US Accenture and Jackson is working in UN. I am very proud of them.
I am so lucky to have them.
