Sugar Update

 

For the past weeks my blood sugar just go as high as 380mg/dl. If that happens I feel so uneasy and into depression.

So I started working out and watch my diet. I exercise 3 times a week for at least 1 hour – 2 hours. About my diet, I don’t eat rice after 12 midnight. Since I am working at night this is really a big sacrifice to me. My body used to have carbo at night. So at first it is very difficult but with the help of my husband I meet my goal. He helps me wake up early for my workout. He is also very careful in buying food.

When I walk up today, I checked my blood sugar and its 148mg/dl. Yes, its still high because my target is 120mg/dl but I considered it a success compared to the previous readings.

I don’t take any medications too. When I took metformin for 2 days, my whole system is not doing well. I vomit, not get enough sleep, faint, don’t want to eat and almost loss consciousness. That was so hard and I don’t want it. Its not safe.

So while my system are not yet used to medications and maybe my diabetes are just starting, I believe that I can still do something about it to normalize without the help of medicines.

I am happy because so far it works for me and I am looking forward that my sugar will go down to 120mg/dl.
