The Givenchy Code – By Julie Kenner

I am reading The Givenchy Code.

The story is about:

Graduate-student Melanie “Mel” Prescott’s happen to be haute couture shoes and complex codes, and who knew one would be the key to staying alive. When Mel first received a coded message from the tall, dark, and scary stranger, she thought one of her friends was kidding her, especially after she decoded the message, which read, “Play or die.” But Mel quickly discovers the message is no joke and that she has somehow become involved in a real-life version of the Internet game of Play.Survive.Win. Now Mel is going to need all of her code-cracking skills, and the help of sexy Matthew Stryker, if she wants to stay one step ahead of an assassin who won’t stop playing until Mel is dead. A fabulously fun heroine with a math-geek’s mind and a passion for fashion outwits and outplays a ruthless killer in the latest ingenious literary creation from Kenner, whose sharp sense of wit is the perfect accessory for this chic blend of chick lit and thriller. John Charles

Ayumi’s First Hair Cut

Finally, I decided to cut Pillow’s hair. So we went to Cuts 4 Tots at Greenhills. I like going in this salon for the first cut because they have this certificate. Gareth also got his first hair cut certificate in this salon.

There is a before and after picture too and the certificate will be release after a week.

Zirkoh Morato

We celebrated my sister 28th birthday at Zirkoh Morato last night. We enjoyed visiting comedy bars around the Metro. Our stress reliever.

We arrived around 9pm.

Here are the pictures:

I will post more later..

How’s your Saturday?

My Day

I woke up around 10a.m today to go to gym. It’s Gareth therapy day too so hubby waited for him while I am at the gym. I am quite happy that through working out my blood sugar is now controllable. I am not taking medications and so far liking it.  But of course I have to watch my diet and be very active.

My food after working out

Hubby is working while Gareth is watching PSP.

Finally, he fall asleep.

After working out, I stayed at a coffee shop with Gareth. He likes watching PSP videos while waiting for hubby. It’s a great time spending time with Gareth, just the two of us. He loves to sing and I like listening to him.

We had our dinner at our fave restaurant, Sushiya at Megamall. We had sashimi, ramen and tempura. After that, I headed to shop Halloween Costumes for the kids. I will post pics about that after the event.

I wish I have a sewing machine because the costumes are not cheap and some designs are not what I wanted for the kids. I hope next time I will be able to own it and maybe I can start designing clothes. Hehehe

We also purchased cake from Red Ribbon because tomorrow is my sister’s birthday! I am so happy that she will be celebrating it with us.

That’s my day…

How about you?

Stress Reliever

Aside of having coffee, working out, watching movie, there is something that helps me relieve my stress.

Scrapbooking…

Yes, I love doing traditional scrapbooking and I even invested materials from U.S. I used to order it through amazon. I have a separate scrapbook for Gareth and Ayumi. I simply love creating pages for them and I will it show it to them and I hope they will love it.

So after working for 7 hours straight, I finally have my break and pull out the materials. I let the kids sleep then I work on my pages.

So here are the pages I did today:
