Salary Day – Bubbly Mom

It’s Salary Day for my spa therapists so we need to go there. Upon arrival, the spa is fully booked and some clients are in the reception area, so I just walked quietly as if I am also a client. Some of the clients know that I am the owner but some are not aware of it and I love it that way.

Last week, I hired some new spa therapists and they are under training. We offer them a month of training and they should pass everything before we will give the clients. So it is very important that they will learn everything and I am very strict in terms of training.

Well, some people are really lack of discipline and maybe they don’t know also of what they really want to do. Nong naghahanap sila ng trabaho ang dami nilang sinasabi para lang matanggap, ako naman laging nagbibigay ng chance kasi ang pinakapurpose naman talaga kung bakit ako nag open ng business ay para magbigay ng work but sometimes I feel sad kasi yong mga nabigyan ko ng trabaho parang hindi nila nabibigyan ng halaga ang pagkakataon.

I do all the hiring and firing of staff at minsan nakakapagod na talaga. Kahit ang dami kong binibigay na benefits sa kanila, parang hindi pa rin okay. Then, I just realized na siguro ganon talaga. Iba iba ang tao at may mga bagay talaga na hindi ko pwedeng i-control.

So earlier, I have this conversation with the trainee. Madami na rin kasing negative feedback ang trainer at supervisor about her performance so I need to talk to her.

Me: Are you still interested to work here?

Trainee: (Smiling)

Me: Ano?

Trainee: Maam, hindi na po, nahihirapan po ako.

Me: ah okay, so wala na pala tayong dapat pag usapan. Sige pack your things.

Then she left.

Oh my.. wala naman akong time makipag usap sa mga ganong tao. Sayang lang ang energy ko kung kausapin ko pa eh hindi na pala gusto sa company ko.

Then, I give the salary for the rest of the therapists then headed to my next duty.

Before we went to the spa, I had my lunch first, mabuti na lang kasi nakakagutom kausap ang mga tao don.
