When I was still in High School, our main skills is sewing and that was 20 years ago. Lately, I wanted a sewing machine because I wanted to sew my own curtains for the spa. The generic curtains I find in the mall is not what I really want. I still need to adjust the length of the curtains just to fit on the curtain rod.
So we looked for a second hand sewing machine at Taytay, Rizal.
I got this for only Php7,000. I thought I already forgot how to use it but the moment I laid my hand into it, I still remember how to use it. I am glad that the Sisters of Mary taught me how to sew and I am forever grateful for them for the skills and values because it made me a better one.
When I got my sewing machine, I decided to look for the fabric so we went back to Taytay.
It amazed me because it was my first time to be in a place where there were lots of textiles. Halos tabi tabi ang mga store nila at kapag papasok ka sa loob halos hindi mo na makikita ang mga tindera kasi ang dami daming tela.
I got what I wanted and that what made me so busy.
