Today is Gareth’s turn to go with us. Just him alone… lahat ng trip nya gagawin namin. ehhehe
First, pinagupitan muna namin sya, kasi medyo mahaba na ang buhok nya.
O diba? ang gwapo na!
Papicture din ako sa gwapo. 🙂
Then we had a little shopping. I bought him new books which he personally choose at National Bookstore.
Then we went to Starbucks. Actually, he just wanted to stay in Starbucks and order his favorite donut.
  
We just stayed there for almost 2 hours, we just let him play his iPad which  he seldom used. It is sort of a reward for him because since he is a special child, we don’t want him to use gadgets everyday because we wanted him to learn to interact with the people around him.
I am glad that we controlled him for using gadgets because he is now learning how to have eye to eye contact with us. He is also trying to communicate with us.
Having a special child is not easy, sometimes, I have to check different ways to make him feel better and of course to develop his skills. At first it was really hard but since I am committed to help him, I know that someday Gareth will be able to talk to us and express his feelings. I really can’t wait on that day when he will be able to share his stories.
