Alumni 2018

March 11, 2018

It’s Alumni and I went to SOM Cavite.

We went to Girlstown first then went to Boystown to visit our batchmate.

It was the best time to be with friends again.

We had so much fun.

These are the awards displays in the lobby.

They had a great time talking to Xavier.

And Xavier went up with the boys so I had time to roam around the office.

My batchmates

I can’t wait for our next meeting.

Alumni 2017

March 12, 2017

25th Death Anniversary of Fr. Al

I did not expect that some of my Batchmates will be coming to Manila to celebrate with us. It is nice to be with them and do our catching up. πŸ™‚

So here we are… still look so young… πŸ˜€

After at SOM we went to Tagaytay to have some coffee.

Then headed to BGC to watch a movie. It was indeed a great weekend.

With The President

Sisters of Mary Girlstown invited 50 graduates and I am lucky to be part of the event.

I woke up 7am to prepare ourselves for the event. When I checked outside, I saw lot of policemen, PSG and military people around the campus. It freaked me out at first but I realize that the security was so tight because we are expecting The President to come.

The Sisters of Mary is asking for help from the Government for the K-12 education and of course for some financial support. We are glad that the President was able to make it.

We stayed at the back area kaya medyo malabo ang kuha ko ng pictures.

I am not really into President Aquino but with his gesture of coming to my Alma Mater, it made me happy that he somehow noticed our school that are helping the poor. I hope he will help our school to achieve the goal to continue extend the help to the one who needed it most.

It Feels Like High School Again

Last Sunday, I had an invitation from the Sisters of Mary Girlstown for a school activity. Since I don’t want to be late during the event, I travel on Sunday night just to spend a single night at the Sisters of Mary.

I stayed at the Retreat House with my high school batchmate, Adelfa.

I arrived around 10pm at Cavite and I am glad that there was no traffic.

Since we arrived late, medyo nagutom na kami. So we had our KFC. πŸ™‚

My bed. It was comfortable but I had a hard time sleeping because I missed my kids.

Our breakfast. Ganito talaga ang breakfast namin nong high school pa lang kami, Β hanggang ngayon ganyan pa rin. Ang nakakatuwa lang, ang mga students ngayon tinuturuan na silang magluto kaya ang galing galing na nila. Dati kasi wala pang culinary subject.

Ayan bagong gising pa. πŸ™‚ Mukha pa rin pala akong high school. ahhahaha

Then I saw this. Ang daming PSG sa area with the dogs. πŸ™‚

With the Culinary Students.

Thankful

I got all this thank you cards from the Sisters of Mary Boystown Cebu.

We also visited Fr. Al’s Museum.

I am really so lucky that I got a chance to know Fr. Al and one of his children. I am forever thankful for all the things that he shared with me.

I am praying so hard that Fr. Al will become a saint soon.
