I woke up a little earlier and prepare for Easter Mass. We went to Christ the King Church.
We seated at the farthest side of the church because I know that the kids will eventually get cranky, at least we can easily exit.
I was really praying that they will behave the whole time and I am thankful that my prayers were answered.
Although ang likot likot ni Xavier but as a whole it was a great mass. Hindi sya umiyak at sumigaw ng malakas. While Gareth just seated the whole time, he is trying to make some noise but everytime I told him to keep quite he just obey. I am so proud of my kids, specially to Gareth.
In the past, I always wanted to attend mass with him inside the church but I ended up going out even before the mass started because he used to cry out loud and shout. Some people will look at me as if I bitten Gareth and it seems that I am a bad parent that can’t even discipline my child. They just didn’t know that Gareth is a special child.
For a long time it was like that, I attended mass outside with the kids. But lately, it seems that Gareth is maturing. He can now understand when to keep quite and I love it and I think I can attend mass inside the church this time with him.
After attending mass we went to The Forth to have some dinner and for them to play outside.
As a reward to Gareth, we had ribs barbecue, his favorite.
It was a great day with the kids and surprisingly we can go out with just the four of us. They are now manageable and maybe can do some out of town trip more often.
