Happy 16th Birthday Irish

Irish celebrated her 16th birthday.

We had our dinner at BGC Taguig.

I am glad that she is growing as a fine lady. 🙂

We also went to the Mind Museum in Taguig. I learn so much and we enjoyed our bonding time.

I wish her a good life. I pray to God to bless my daughter a healthy and happy life.

She is my daughter, but we have the same mother. Actually, she is my youngest sister but she grow up with me. She grew up thinking that we are her parents and we did all the parents responsibility to her. Our father died when she was 5 years old and since then I am the one who take care of her. I am glad that she grew up as a good daughter and I am so proud of her.

As a mom, I am always praying for her safety and good health. As a mom of a teenager, I worried a lot about her but I am praying to God to help me become the best mother to her.

Sepoc Island

We decided to have Xavier’s birthday getaway at Batangas. We stayed at Eagle Point Resort and they offer a roundtrip tour to Sepoc Island.

Since Eagle Point don’t have a nice shore, we opted to see the island and it was so worth it.

The island has white sand and clear blue water.

We had a table along the beach where we had our lunch that we pre ordered at the hotel. They cooked the food at the island so it was really fresh.

Xavier loved playing the sand and it made him so busy while we were relaxing.

The water was so cold though it was so sunny, the kids love it so much.

We are trying to take a family picture of us through our camera timer and this is the result. 😀

Happy 2nd Birthday Xavier

I’m a little bit emotional… yet I am very thankful!

It’s Xavier’s 2nd Birthday!

We had a simple salo salo at home with my family and staffs.

I made this DIY birthday banner and printed Xavier’s pictures.

I am glad that I pulled this off perfectly. Just the way I wanted it to be.

I ordered his Strawberry Shortcake at Yulo in Forbes Park, Makati.

He like it so much!

When we started singing Happy Birthday, he was so happy! Look at his face! hahahha

Dear Xavier,

Happy happy birthday to you! I wish you good health and more more birthdays to come! Your birthday is very special to me because it marks the time when I my hope to life started to grow. You brought so much happiness and love to our family and I am very thankful to God for all of that.

You might not understand the whole thing right now but I know eventually you will. You are our Rainbow Baby and you really prove that to us. I love you so much!

Birthday Dinner

July 14

I went to church then we went to Eastwood for dinner. I just wanted a simple salo salo with my family.

Gusto sana namin sa Dencio’s but still under renovation so don na lang kami sa Seafood Island and here are some of our orders:

We are 10 at sobra sobra pa ang food. 🙂

Of course my little siblings… JR and Irish.

I just love to spend quality time with my family, specially now that we are so busy in our business.

Birthday Celebration

I celebrated my 36th birthday in a very simple way. At exactly 12 midnight, they sang a happy birthday song and I blew my candles. It was indeed a simple yet meaningful and happy birthday.

I didn’t go for a vacation or any out of town trip because I wanted to spend it at home. I usually celebrate my birthday at home because since I was a kid, I was not allowed to travel during my birthday. Ganyan ang pamahiin ng mga matatanda, kasi daw ang may birthday ay lapitin sa aksidente. So, habang lumalaki ako, nakasanayan ko na.

When friends asked about my age, I always tell them that I stop counting since I reached 18. hahahah

My wish are good health and safety always for the whole family.

So ayan, hating gabi na pero ang daming pagkain.

Hubby bought me my fave wine “Merlot”.

Of course, a flower from hubby! I am so thankful for all the surprises.

I am thankful for another year. I am forever thankful to God for all the blessings. I believe that whatever happened in my life was never an accident, it was meant to happen and sometimes I don’t understand the reason behind it all but I believe that God is in control of everything. So I should not worry… I just live each moment of my life with happiness and hope.

Birthday Post

Happy birthday to me!

Hindi pa ako natutulog. I just want to stay awake and just eat everything hubby prepared. Everything he cooked is really special and I feel so blessed to have a husband like him.

Well, I don’t really feel something special about my birthday because when I was a kid, our birthdays are just like any ordinary day. May mga time nga noon na wala kaming handa basta ang importante ay magsisimba kami at sama sama kaming kakain kung ano man lang ang makakaya. Most of my birthdays ay walang cakes at spaghetti pero okay lang sa akin yon. Eldest kasi ako, kaya nakita ko ang hirap ng mga magulang ko sa aming limang magkapatid. Kung ano ang meron kami, yon ang pinagkakasya sa amin. Most of the time kulang ang kinikita ng magulang namin kaya hindi na ako nanghihingi sa kanila. Kung ano ang binibigay nila sa akin ay yon na ang pinagkakasya ko.

Lumaki akong simple lang ang buhay. Wala akong branded na damit, sapatos at laruan kasi mas priority namin na makakain kami ng tama. Mahirap kami pero hindi kami nagugutom. Palagi kaming may pagkain at don ako proud sa mga magulang ko. Hindi nila kami hinayaan na magutom. Hindi nila pinaramdam sa amin na walang wala talaga kami. Tinuruan nila ako na bigyang halaga ang mga bagay na mas importante.

Now that I just turned 36 (OMG), I want a simpler birthday, just like the old times. I just want to celebrate it with my family. 🙂

Xavier’s First Birthday (4th Part)

Dear Xavier,

I know someday you will be able to read this. I hope you will feel our love and happiness. You brought so much hope to our family. The joys you brought to us is really beyond words. We are so happy to have you. Everyday is worth waking up because we have you. I thank God everyday for blessing us a baby like you. Thank you for making me believe that there is always a rainbow after the rain.

Everything you do delights us. You have your own charm that capture our hearts.

I promise to take care of you and provide you the love and comfort you deserve. I love you so much Xavier!

Everyday with you is an adventure. I love everything that you do. I love watching you grow and even more excited for the future with you.

Xavier’s First Birthday (2nd Part)

It was Saturday and we expected heavy traffics so the guests were late. I am just glad that some of them made it. The party is not complete without our relatives and friends.

Relatives are finally here.

I really treasure this moments…

My relatives are with us in every journey we are taking. When I lost Ayumi, they are all there and I feel so lucky to have them.

It was a great day! I can see in Xavier’s face that he was so happy to see everyone. 🙂

When I planned his birthday party, I didn’t think of any cartoon character as a themed. When I browsed online, I like the mint green and gold theme, then I visualize that it will make the party looks elegant.

I am glad that I made it because I got nice compliments from the guests. 🙂
