Road Trip

On our road trip last Thursday, we stopped for a while to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Some motorists stopped here to have some pictures and when they were done, I immediately have my pictures too.

Xavier was throwing up when we started and I need to let him out of the car for a while to freshen up.

Eagle Point Resort

For our Xavier’s Birthday Getaway, I decided to stay at Eagle Point Resort in Batangas. I booked a 2 bed but I ended up a 1 bed which is hard for us to sleep because we are four. They sent us a baby cot but Xavier is not used to sleep in a cot anymore. He loves to sleep with me and so that was a great problem but we make a way of it. We sleep horizontally and it was really hard but still we sleep soundly because we were so tired from our activities.

Nagsisiksikan ang dalawa. 🙂

This is the view from the Restaurant. It was a great view and I love it. This is also the same view from our room which I added $10 for this view. ahhahah

The breakfast buffet was good but nothing spectacular. I just like it because they have fruits, dried fish, longganiza and ham.

Though we constantly travel, I always see to it that if I travel with my kids, I need a nice place. A safe place for the kids. A free breakfast from the hotel is important to us for less hassle.

Hubby is still working while we are on a vacation and we are used to it. We’ve been doing this for 9 years already.

The kids during breakfast time.

The place was nice and I will definitely be going back to try the scuba diving activity which the resort is offering. If you want to book this place just email us at sasumanstravelandtours@gmail.com

Thanks!

They Miss Us!!

When we arrived home, the kids don’t want to leave us anymore. They just want to be with us all the time. They don’t want us to go without them. They often have tantrums. So we gave in to what they want.

We stays with them the whole time. We played with them and even go out with them. We went to the mall and to coffee shops.

They really miss us so much! I am glad that Gareth and Xavier is really like that.  I am glad that they are happier if we are around because it is just means that we take care of them and they really feel our love to them.

It’s been a week since our Baguio Trip and I wanted to go back already but this time with the kids.

Ben Cab Museum

The reason I visited Baguio again is to visit Ben Cab Museum. I came across some blogs about  it and I got curious. I love arts and I think this is a right place to visit.

So on our last day in Baguio, we were scheduled to visit the museum. We arrived at around 5pm.

I love everything 🙂

This is the view from the top.

It has a modern design and it was huge. I like that gardens and the pond.

I enjoyed our short stay in Baguio and I will definitely be coming back soon with the kids.

Food around Baguio

While we were in Baguio, my goal was to try different food mostly prepared by locals.

We went to Ketchup Community where a group of restos are located.

We tried the Green Pepper and order following:

When we went to Mines View Park, I got this sweet corn.

There is a Choco-Late de Batirol

I just love the Champorado with Tuyo.

I also tried the Volante Resto at the Ketchup Community and I love the food. I just like the simplicity of it.

There are so many new restaurants in the city that should be try. I will be coming back!

Botanical Garden at Baguio City

Feb. 15, 2016

On our second day we went to Botanical Gardens.

I tasted the Stawberry Taho and I love it. It is a big relief because the night before was an agony for me. I had a bad stomach ache and I was praying so hard that I will feel better because I wanted to enjoy our stay in Baguio. When I woke up, I feel refreshed and I knew there was a miracle.

It was a great morning! I was able to enjoy the view. It was sunny yet cold.

I wanted to have a picture with this Sign but eventually the old ladies came over and cheer me up. We need to pay 10pesos each. ahahhaah

The botanical was huge so when we found out this wooden chair, we stayed for a while to relax and enjoy the beauty around us.

What I really love most is the flowers around me are blooming. I really wish to have a garden like this.

This little bee was so busy. bzzzzzzzy

Mines View Park

It was my 3rd time in Baguio and it was the first time that I enjoyed Mines View Park.  There were fewer tourists that time because it was weekday already. I just love the famous view.

Then I was so busy checking all the plants. I love adding plants to our little garden and I wanted to add more but it might not grew  because of the hot weather.

I got the rose cactus and some herbs which hubby likes to collect.

Hotel Breakfast

First Breakfast at the hotel.

There is a buffet breakfast but there were few choices.

Hubby’s plate:

The breakfast was just okay.. on our second day, the breakfast was in set-menu and it has less choices. 🙁

Not a good experience though…

My Valentine!

Feb. 14, 2016

We woke up almost 6pm and hubby keep on saying that I should prepare for our dinner date. So habang nahihilo pa ako sa antok, I forced myself at eto ang resulta. ahahahah

Nawala ang antok ko kasi lalabas daw kami. So time ko na para mafeel ang lamig ng Baguio sa gabi. I realized that I don’t always get this chance kaya dapat sulitin. Dapat we should create more wonderful memories together. 🙂

So we went to Ketchup Community and had our dinner at Green Pepper Resto.

It was a very simple resto but the food was so amazing! Tamang tama lahat.

Notice that notebook? That’s my travel notebook, where I listed all the must see and visit in a particular place. Palagi ko yang dala kapag nagtravel ako, either local or international.

San kaya ang next?

Anyway, here are our orders:

I forgot the name kasi gutom na kami. Hindi ko na nailista. hahaha

Our Valentine Picture together.

Then I got this 3 Red Tulips. Its actually a plant and I have this in my office table and I wish so hard na tumubo talaga to.

Happy Valentines Everyone!

Thanks for the love…
