Back in the Gym

I didn’t went to the gym in the whole month of April.

The truth is, I missed it but I need to focus on the business. Our working schedule that time was not always the same and aside from that I was not quite feeling well during those times. I had cough for almost 2 weeks.

So by May, I’m back and I am really determined to go to gym at least 3 times a week.

Though I have body pain after the workout, I know it is part of the training.

I hope that I can achieve my target weight in the coming months. 

Strength Training

Hubby and I decided to lose weight and we found out that strength training is the better way to convert our fats into muscles.
We are also doing cardio at least 3 times a week and I feel good about it.

For our diet, we also avoid too much sweets. I never drink any sodas for about 2 years already and yes I really made it. Some people I know who has diabetes find it really hard to give up soda but it is really worth.

After giving birth, my endo didn’t advice me to take insulin anymore and since I don’t want to take meds, I should focus on lowering my blood sugar in a natural way. Meds side effects are really bothering me. I had stomachache all the time.

Before I got pregnant my sugar was controlled without taking any meds. I just watched my diet and become more active and I think I can do it again this time.

It is not easy at first but if you are really determined to do it then eventually you will reach your goal.

Exercise

 

I am back on doing my 3 times a week exercise. I feel better now and I think it’s about time to start working out. I bought a video workout guide and so far I like it.

Right now my muscles are aching but I like it that way. I know that it is just a normal reaction of my body. I am determined to lose 20lbs more from my 140lbs. current weight.

I hope I will reach it before summer so that I can wear that summer outfit I’m longing to wear. 😀
