Mahogany Market

We went to Mahogany Market at Tagaytay to try the famous Bulalo. Actually, it was our first time. I heard about it and I’m glad that finally I got a chance to visit the place.

I like how simple it is to dine in Mahogany Market. I miss having this kind of dining. Pipiliin mo lang ang gusto mo then they will serve it to your table in an instant. No need to wait for so long unlike sa ibang restaurants.

I love this tawilis. When I discover this tawilis from Tagaytay, never na akong nagskip everytime nasa Tagaytay kami.

This crispy shrimp is also my favorite.

So Tired

After my meeting with my batchmates at Tagaytay, I realized that I was so tired already and I don’t have enough energy to drive. I don’t want to take the risks because the last time that I drive without enough sleep was really hard. I can’t focus on the road and I can’t really help my eyes. Since that time, I am alone inside the car, I know that I am in real trouble if I will still drive. So I called hubby to come over to Tagaytay and we will just sleep somewhere.

So by an instant, may kasama na ako.

Sobrang accessible talaga. We stayed at Magallanes Square Hotel.

So comfy.

It is just a small room but I like the modern interior.

We checked out around 12 noon. So we drive separately but it was okay since I already got enough rest.

It was a great weekend….

The hardest part was… I miss my kids so much. In between of my daily activities, I kept on checking on them through calls and text.

With Friends

Nov. 22, 2014

I arrived at the Retreat House around 8pm. My friends are not at the Retreat House yet because they were eating somewhere. So I waited them and when we finally met, we decided to go Tagaytay. It was already late, so from Silang Cavite, I drive all the way to Tagaytay.

We had our chit chat time while enjoying the cold breeze of Tagaytay. ๐Ÿ™‚

PreBirthday Celebration

I had my Prebirthday celebration yesterday at Tagaytay but before that I also see to it to visit my Alma Mater. The school that molded me to become I am today. The place where I learn so much values that I am most grateful for.

The Sisters of Mary Girlstown Cavite.

I am graduate of Sisters of Mary Cebu.

When I entered the Museum:

Sister Mau: Hi Ate, kumusta na po.

Me: Ok lang naman. Dumalaw lang ako. Namiss ko to.

Sister: 10th batch po ba kayo?

Me: ha? hindi… 3rd batch ako.

Sister: Naku Ate, ang bata mo pa kasi.

Al. He was the founder of Sisters of Mary. He is really a good man.

I bought books, prayer guide and bookmark.

That is where Fr. Al buried. I went to him everytime I have wishes and everytime I don’t feel good or I need spiritual help. He never failed to help me. He is truly our father. I love how he teaches us and I can’t wait to read all his books because I wanted to know him more. I can’t wait na maging Santo na si Fr. Al.

Sr. Riza with Gareth, I am thankful for all the prayers of the nuns for me during those times when I was so down. During those times when my faith was deeply affected, Sr. Riza is the one who helped me back my faith.

After our tour at SOM we went to Tagaytay to visit Our Lady of Lourdes.

The Church is so nice.

Then we had our dinner at Antonio’s Grill in Tagaytay.

Our orders:

Ensaladang Talong

Bulalo

Sisig

Pusit

Grilled Pork
