11th Wedding Anniversary

We exchanged our vows 11 years ago and until now we are still the same sweet couple. We still love to kiss and hold hands anywhere. Of course it is always like that, we also have our shortcomings just like any other couples but we try to work hard for our relationship to flourish.

Communication, respect, trust and love are the keys for our marriage. Since I don’t usually meet my friends, my husband is my constant companion in everything I do. We are bestfriends. We can talk about anything. We also love to eat and travel.

So for our 11th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to visit Boracay because I don’t want to travel outside Philippines because Xavier is still so young and I don’t want to leave him for so long. 3 days and 2 nights is what we got. I booked our tours 2 weeks before August 8, but since there are low pressure area that time, I thought of cancelling our trip but when Thursday come and saw the Sun shine so bright then it was a sign that we should pursue our trip.

August 8, Friday, was our trip to Boracay. It had traffic everywhere and we are almost late for our 11am flight. I am so glad that there were less people so we accommodated right away.

Arrive at Boracay around 3pm and it was very hot. I am so sure that we will be having a great time.

But around 7pm my sister who is taking care of my kids texted me that Xavier had high fever! OMG, that was it. I wanted to be at my child asap. I panicked!

They brought him to the nearest hospital where he got CBC and Urine test. While the nurses are doing it, I was on the phone the whole time and hear my baby crying. It was so hard for me and all I wanted to do is to cut our vacation short. Hubby kept on calling our transfer service around 12 midnight because we wanted to go home at 4am.  When they got the test result, there is no need for him to stay at the hospital. My sister assure me that it was nothing serious and no high fever already. But I keep on checking on them almost every hour. We keep on texting. Before our trip, I write in a 2 bond paper all my instructions on how to take care for Gareth and Xavier but still there are things that we really can’t control. We decided to just stay. whew!

On our second day, when Xavier don’t have fever, that was the time we relaxed. We stayed on a shore, just had our juice and sleep. I even finish reading the book. It was a very relaxing day, I just love the sounds of the waves and the fresh air.

Check Up Time

Xavier has fever for 2 days already and I suspect it is because of teething but still I need him ro see his pedia.  Pedia’s clinic today is here at The Fort but wala din pala ang pedia,  so we went ro a different doctor.

To all my readers please say a prayer for my baby boy for faster recovery.

Thanks!

Teething

Xavier will be turning 5 months and this time he is irritable and don’t sleep well. He also likes to bite his little fingers. He keeps on drooling and get mad if he has nothing to bite. This morning he has a slight fever and it really worries me. I give paracetamol as needed.

So this is it..

I hope the teeth will come out soon.

New Camera

Last month while I was having my window shopping at Megamall, I saw a new camera at Canon. When I tried it, it was the best. When I hold it, I knew that this is what I wanted. But… last month I already overspent and I told hubby that I will be getting it next.

So here comes August and when hubby told me that I can get the camera, I never wasted time.

I got this Canon S120. It is very small and handy but with a DSLR character. The lens is a 5x optical zoom – with an equivalent focal range of 24-120mm. The video is just a bonus because what I really liked about this Canon S120 is the vivid photos. I really can’t wait to go out and use my new camera.

I am sure that I will be getting more pictures of my favorite subjects, my kids, families, foods and of course our trips.

Here are some of the samples:

Taking pictures is one of my hobbies and when I got my first Nikon DSLR I was addicted to it. I just stopped taking pictures when Ayumi died. It seems that I don’t like doing it anymore but now I think I should continue doing what I love.

So watch out for more pictures. 🙂

4th Birthday…

August 3

It’s Ayumi’s 4th birthday but I really don’t know what to do. The night before her birthday I was really crying. I miss her so much.

We went to her place and offer her a black forest cake (her favorite) and juice. We also bought balloons.

It is a sad birthday because the celebrant is not here.

—————

Four years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby. After 2 years she went Home to Heaven. There are so many things I wish to do with her but all I have right now is those wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

No enough words can express how much I miss her…
The pain is still here to endure for the rest of my life and I know that it will stay like this forever.

Happy birthday Ayumi! Thank you for letting me feel your love. YouIMG_1809 are truly our angel. We love you so much!

Spa Construction Update

Our spa in Antipolo is still under construction.  I am still waiting for the wallpaper from Korea kaya medyo natagalan but I am just taking it slowly and surely.

I don’t need to hurry kasi August naman and some business owner don’t really open a new business during Ghost Month.

So while waiting for the grand opening kailangan ko na din munang iupdate ang spa.

The Aircon

I got this at SM and it has 5 years warranty. I just hope na matibay to at tatagal talaga. Kaya din nagustuhan ko dahil sa warranty.

Soon magbubukas na ang Antipolo Branch and we are all excited.

Car Wash

Mahirap magpark kapag weekend sa Megamall. Weekends are my only options to go out kaya wala akong choice kundi makipagsamantala na makapagpark kami agad.

Eri Curry

Eri Curry, is the new restaurant in Megamall. Hubby asked me to try it because he likes curry so much.

Soft opening palang sila kaya medyo magulo pa. Nong umupo kami they just offer one menu, so medyo matagal bago kami nakapag order. When we placed our order, medyo matagal bago dumating ang order namin at may mga kulang pa sa order.

The place is crowded, kasi medyo magulo ang pagkaayos ng tables.

We order the following:

Hubby’s order:

My order:

Mango Shake

We order 2 Mango Shakes at masarap. 🙂

So far the experience was great. It was my first time to try curry. Satisfied sya. 🙂

I hope next time maging maayos na ang service nila.

Dream Job

When I was young my dream job is to become a Lawyer. It started when my father involved in a case and since we don’t have money,  my mother find it hard to get a good lawyer. The cased run for more than 10 years. I realized that if I become a lawyer, I can help poor people to get justice they aim for. That was then.. but later I realized that studying to become a lawyer needs more money and we don’t have enough resources. But until today, I am still dreaming to become a lawyer but everytime I watched something about lawyer na mga nabayaran o kaya wala ng dignidad, I realized that maybe it is not for me. It’s a risky career.

But.. ever since I am young, I am already exposed to business. My lola had a small sari sari store. I also grow up  na meron kaming carinderia and beauty parlor. My lola taught me how to manage business at paano kung hindi maloko sa business. Tinuruan din nya ako kung paano makisama. I am very thankful for her. She really help me become I am today.

There are times that I miss my Lola so much. She was the best person who showed me so much love.
