Last January, I launched my new business, the Ayumi’s Fashion. We created plus size office wear.

Visita Iglesia 2019

We had our Visita Iglesia on a Wednesday and not a typical day but I wanted it for Wednesday because there were fewer people in the churches.

Our goal for that day was to visit Padre Pio in Batangas.

So we went directly to Batangas.

This church is so memorable for me because this is where I always go when I was still in college. Kapag sobrang sama ng loob ko, kapag gulong gulo na ako sa mundo at parang feeling ko hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko, dito ako pumapasok. Umuupo lang ako sa sulok, magdadasal tapos paglabas ko medyo ok na ako. Parang nawala na problema ko.

During Holy Week, feeling down ako the whole time. Medyo masama kasi ang pakiramdam ko before that, isang linggo akong may ubo siguro dahil sa sobrang init at kahit masama pakiramdam ko hindi pa rin ako nakapagpahinga. Madaming activities ang mga kids at sa office kaya puno talaga sched ko, kahit hirap na hirap na ako kakaubo, hindi ako pwedeng tumigil. Siguro isang araw lang ako nagpahinga. Isang araw na natulog ako pero hindi pa rin maayos kasi nga ubo ako ng ubo.

Tapos may iniisip pa ako… alam mo yong feeling na may gusto ka ng mangyari pero hindi pa talaga pwede at wala kang pwedeng gawin kundi maghintay…

Sobrang feeling down talaga ako. Habang nag visita Iglesia kami yon talaga pinagdadasal ko na.

Our last Church is at St. Therese Chapel inside UPLB.

This church is also memorable for me kasi dito kami kinasal ng asawa ko. The first time I visited this church, sobrang nagandahan ako. Ang simple lang ng church. Ayoko kasing maglakad sa mahabang aisle kasi lampa ako. Natatakot akong matapilok kaya dito ang gusto ko. Pero ang reason talaga ay favorite saint ko si St. Therese. Nong high school kami sya talaga laging kinekwento ng mga Madre. Nainlove ako kay St. Therese. Kaya nong nalaman ko na may St. Therese Chapel, don na talaga agad ang gusto ko.

So yon… I’m happy that I got a chance to visit the churches that was part of me. It’s nice to be back to a place that are familiar to me that I always considered a home.

Orientation Day

April 15 – Orientation Day

It’s gonna be a long day so I had my foot massage first 😀

Then around 3pm we went to the office….

The leaders were ready…

New Agents were coming…

Then we bought Pizza, this is already our tradition to have pizza every time we had our orientation.

I am excited for our new seasonal agents.

It was a great day! I believe that I got the best team!

Moving Up

Xavier’s Moving Up Day!

We woke up around 5am for his 8am event.

Too early for us..

We were so excited…

We arrived on time…

We are so proud of him..

I always tell him to do good in school. To listen to his teachers, be nice to everyone around him and to be careful always…

I am so proud of him. His teachers told me that Xavier is very logical, they need to prepare everytime he asked questions, because Xavier is a serious type.

Oh well… kanino kaya to nagmana?

Random Things

April 7 – Irish’s 19th birthday!

I still remember when she was so little, she was so clingy.. she just want to be with me always but now, she has her own world. I wish she was still little. 🙂

Sunburn — it was so painful…

I had cough after our vacation, it was so bad… I can’t even go out because my throat is so itchy!

These strepsils somehow lessen the pain but still… I need to stay indoors and took meds. I hate having cough.

Xavier needs to wake up early for his school farewell party. Look at that outfit!

He went home with this certificate! So proud of him!

Then he showed me his art — the Solar System 🙂

Irish Graduation

After 6 years in High School, finally she graduated!

Yay for those sleepless nights for doing her thesis and other school projects.

I saw her doing her best to complete all the needed school requirements and I think she deserved her award!

She improved so much.. and I am so happy for her. I saw her when she started in this school and she had a hard time. It took her years to finally adjust and finally she made it!

She finished high school with a beaming pride!

As a mom, I trusted her but of course I need to remind her every now and then to be responsible and focus on her studies at the same time she should enjoy the process.

You can never go back to this time ever again so you just need to have fun because in the future you are just going to reminisce this phase of your life and somehow this will be your guide to achieve your future dreams.

I am so proud of her and I hope that whatever she learned from High School will continue to guide her forever. 🙂

Pico de Loro

We had our quick getaway the moment we found out that Xavier had almost a week of vacation from School. It was exam week and they only need to report to school for a day then the rest of the week they were free. So we made a rush booking at Pico de Loro and luckily we got a room… we stayed for 3 nights.

Finally, we were able to go to the beach! so excited…

Xavier loves to write his name to any hotel notes whenever we visited one. So I make sure to collect those notes. 🙂

We were so hungry when we arrived. We had our late lunch.

When Xavier find out that we will be going to the beach, he made sure to prepare his sand toys. He was playing his sand toys the whole time.

I just love lounging in the beach… just chilling… just feeling the sun, wind and salt 🙂

They are both opposites, Gareth loves to stay in the water, he likes to swim so much while Xavier just wanted to stay in the shore and build sand castle.

On our second day, I woke up around 4am then we walked to the beach. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach and it was so perfect. The water was so calm…

We were able to check the other part of the resort and it was our first time to see it. We were here so many times before but we never explore this part.

It was a quick getaway but so worth it.

We will be busy for the rest of the month and I am glad that we squeezed this to our schedule.

Pet Talk

Alex is our pet cat.

One day, she just went inside our house, she was still a kitten that time.

My sister take care of her. They gave her food and milk.

I really don’t like pet because I am asthmatic and I really don’t know how to take care of them.

But it seems that cats like me.

Wherever I goes, there is always cats who just stayed in our place and we have no choice but feed them.

Minsan madami pa talaga.

Si Alex, lagi lang yan sya sa labas ng bahay, pero grabe ang tyaga nya talaga.

Lahat kami inamo nya… hanggang sa nakakapasok na sya.

Hanggang nakakatulog na sya sa sofa at sa loob na ng bahay kumakain.

Hanggang sa natanggap ko na talaga sya.

Hinayaan ko na sya sa loob ng bahay pero may sched lang kasi ayaw ni Gareth na tinatabihan sya ni Alex.

But Xavier likes her so much. Pinagtatanggol pa yan.

At eto pa, ayaw nan ng tira tira na pagkain, kaya napabili pa kami ng cat food. Buntis pala sya ngayon kaya medyo ingat kami sa pag aalaga sa kanya, mukhang dadami pa ang kuting dito sa bahay.
