At Clarkfield Pampanga

Sept. 19, 2014

Maaga kaming natulog kasi kailangan naming bumiyahe to Clark, Pampanga for my hubby’s hobby. He will be having his training at TRS. No cancellations. Nakakaloka!

So ayon, we waited and keep on checking kung saan pwede kaming makadaan. Around 11pm, we finally knew where to pass.

We stayed at Hotel Stotsenberg.

3rd Day in Boracay

On our 3rd day we just had our last minute shopping para sa pasalubong at syempre nag swim swim din kami.

I wish I can stay longer but no.. I have so many things to do and my kids are waiting.

Everytime I went to the beach, I never really cared if I looked so sunog kasi alam ko naman na pag uwi ko hindi na naman ako makikita ng araw. Kaya ayan carefree as ever!

See you next time Boracay!

2nd Day in Boracay

On our 2nd day, we just stayed at the beach and walked from Station 3 to Station 1 back and forth. I never get tired walking kasi madaming paninda at maganda ang view.

We stayed at Crown Regency Station 3, beachfront.

We stayed here from 10am to 3pm. 🙂

Naghanap akong buko at eto ang mahal, umabot ng 150 each.

Hanggang umabot na kami sa dulo kakalakad. So worth it naman kasi dito namin hinintay ang Sunset. 🙂

Pasensya na kayo sa mga kalokohan ko. 😀

Best sunset ever!

11th Wedding Anniversary

We exchanged our vows 11 years ago and until now we are still the same sweet couple. We still love to kiss and hold hands anywhere. Of course it is always like that, we also have our shortcomings just like any other couples but we try to work hard for our relationship to flourish.

Communication, respect, trust and love are the keys for our marriage. Since I don’t usually meet my friends, my husband is my constant companion in everything I do. We are bestfriends. We can talk about anything. We also love to eat and travel.

So for our 11th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to visit Boracay because I don’t want to travel outside Philippines because Xavier is still so young and I don’t want to leave him for so long. 3 days and 2 nights is what we got. I booked our tours 2 weeks before August 8, but since there are low pressure area that time, I thought of cancelling our trip but when Thursday come and saw the Sun shine so bright then it was a sign that we should pursue our trip.

August 8, Friday, was our trip to Boracay. It had traffic everywhere and we are almost late for our 11am flight. I am so glad that there were less people so we accommodated right away.

Arrive at Boracay around 3pm and it was very hot. I am so sure that we will be having a great time.

But around 7pm my sister who is taking care of my kids texted me that Xavier had high fever! OMG, that was it. I wanted to be at my child asap. I panicked!

They brought him to the nearest hospital where he got CBC and Urine test. While the nurses are doing it, I was on the phone the whole time and hear my baby crying. It was so hard for me and all I wanted to do is to cut our vacation short. Hubby kept on calling our transfer service around 12 midnight because we wanted to go home at 4am.  When they got the test result, there is no need for him to stay at the hospital. My sister assure me that it was nothing serious and no high fever already. But I keep on checking on them almost every hour. We keep on texting. Before our trip, I write in a 2 bond paper all my instructions on how to take care for Gareth and Xavier but still there are things that we really can’t control. We decided to just stay. whew!

On our second day, when Xavier don’t have fever, that was the time we relaxed. We stayed on a shore, just had our juice and sleep. I even finish reading the book. It was a very relaxing day, I just love the sounds of the waves and the fresh air.

To be continued…

Los Banos After Typhoon Glenda

We went to Los Banos, Laguna yesterday to attend a birthday party of my college friends daughter. So, I got a chance to check Los Banos after the typhoon Glenda. I was so shocked of what I’ve seen.

Trees debris are still all over the place.

We arrive early so I got a chance to check UPLB.

We stayed in our car while we are having lunch. We have our take out from Jollibee. After eating, I sleep for 2 hours then headed to the party.

Some parts of Los Banos don’t have electricity yet and I am thankful that all my friends are safe despite what happened to LB.

PreBirthday Celebration

I had my Prebirthday celebration yesterday at Tagaytay but before that I also see to it to visit my Alma Mater. The school that molded me to become I am today. The place where I learn so much values that I am most grateful for.

The Sisters of Mary Girlstown Cavite.

I am graduate of Sisters of Mary Cebu.

When I entered the Museum:

Sister Mau: Hi Ate, kumusta na po.

Me: Ok lang naman. Dumalaw lang ako. Namiss ko to.

Sister: 10th batch po ba kayo?

Me: ha? hindi… 3rd batch ako.

Sister: Naku Ate, ang bata mo pa kasi.

Al. He was the founder of Sisters of Mary. He is really a good man.

I bought books, prayer guide and bookmark.

That is where Fr. Al buried. I went to him everytime I have wishes and everytime I don’t feel good or I need spiritual help. He never failed to help me. He is truly our father. I love how he teaches us and I can’t wait to read all his books because I wanted to know him more. I can’t wait na maging Santo na si Fr. Al.

Sr. Riza with Gareth, I am thankful for all the prayers of the nuns for me during those times when I was so down. During those times when my faith was deeply affected, Sr. Riza is the one who helped me back my faith.

After our tour at SOM we went to Tagaytay to visit Our Lady of Lourdes.

The Church is so nice.

Then we had our dinner at Antonio’s Grill in Tagaytay.

Our orders:

Ensaladang Talong

Bulalo

Sisig

Pusit

Grilled Pork

Pico De Loro Getaway

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Pico de Loro. We wanted to stay at the beach but since we can’t travel yet far from home because Xavier is just 2 months, we opted to stay at Pico de Loro. The beach is very private and so perfect for a birthday getaway.

I got a corner room and we really love it. We traveled without a yaya and it’s our first time to try and we are proud of ourselves that we made it. It’s not easy but we love it. We love going somewhere without yaya’s because that is a perfect time to get to know our kids. I am glad that the kids are used to be with us and we really know what they want so it is easy for us to bring them anywhere.

Here are some of the pictures:

That is the real happenings inside our room. 🙂

Gareth is watching TV while Xavy is sleeping. 🙂

The Beach

Hubby and Gareth love the beach.

We requested a baby cot for Xavier but it turned out that Gareth liked it. He sleeps and play in a baby cot. 🙂

It was a smooth sailing getaway but we really love it. We got a time for ourselves and for the kids. We also had a great time to be with them without any distraction. It was hard because both of them are demanding but we are used to it and we just enjoy it.

Baguio Getaway

During Holy Week, we usually do our Visita Iglesia within Metro Manila but since I just gave birth, we decided to do it in Antipolo Cathedral. On our way to Cathedral, hubby eventually decided that we will be going to Baguio.

So went back home to pack clothes, well, he packed clothes but it seems that he didn’t pack that much. In short… I am wearing something I don’t feel like wearing. hahah but still, it never stop us from having a great time in Baguio.

We left around 4pm on Thursday and reached Baguio around 11pm. We were already very sleepy and we didn’t even have hotel accommodation and I was really hoping that we can get a good rooms.

When I saw the Crown Legacy, we asked if they have 2 vacant rooms and luckily we got it. We got a nice room, unpacked everything then have a good night sleep… ooopps not really good night because in between we are taking care of Xavier. He might be very tired and over stimulated so he is crying for hours before he slept.

We also woke up early to start our Station of the Cross at Baguio Cathedral then we went to Burham Park and Mines View.

On our second day we went to Strawberry Farm then went back to Manila. It was a short getaway but so worth it. It was hubby’s first time to drive to Baguio.

Subic Getaway

On weekend, we decided to go to Subic because hubby wanted to watch an event about Cars. So even though there is a typhoon that time, it never stop us for traveling. Since, I also miss going to an out of town trip, so we packed our bags and go.

We decided to stay at the Camayan Beach Resort.

The place is perfect. It has beach that we can enjoy but sad to say, the storm came the next day and we don’t have a choice but to stay in our room where I read books, sleep and watch tv.

Hubby catch up with his anime while Gareth is playing the ipad. We just go out everytime we are hungry. I am praying so hard that the storm will pass because we wanted to go out and enjoy the beach.

The next day, the event was cancelled due to bad weather. 🙁

So we decided to visit the nearby restaurants, duty free and just explore the place. We had a great time.

We stayed 2 nights at the resort. On Sunday morning, the storm was over. We decided to go to the beach.

The waves were scary so we just decided to stay at least 1 hour.  I just want to be with nature, to feel the sand on my feet and listen to the waves. It made me feel relax and rejuvenate. It seems like a brandnew me. Nature has an amazing effect on me and I wanted to do it often.

We checked out and went to Ocean Park.

As always, I am amazed how the dolphin to it. 🙂

I love the shows then we headed home.

It was a short vacation but so worth it. 🙂

Weekend Getaway at Boracay

After the wedding, we found out that my friends are planning to go to Boracay. It’s just 5 hours land travel from Iloilo. At first I was hesitant to join because Gareth is not with us and we already booked our plane ticket going back to Manila. Friends are inviting us to join then finally me and hubby gave in. We realized that we needed to be surrounded by friends specially in this moment. For the past months, we don’t really go out with friends because it seems that we are not ready but now that we are with friends, it feels so good that just to be with them.

The road trip was hard because we are riding a jeepney but we survived. The fun part was we don’t have our swimming attire and we don’t have hotel bookings. I pray so hard that there are available rooms in La Carmela or Boracay Regency because that is the two hotels I love to stay but when I called the 2 hotels, they can’t confirm so it is advisable to just go directly to the hotel.

When we arrived at La Carmela, we are so lucky that they have extra room. We never wasted time and checked in while some of my friends stay in a hotel far from the beach front.  After we checked in to our hotel, we decided to buy clothes and some of the saleslady thought that I eloped with my bf. It was really funny and I keep on telling them I am with my hubby.

We stayed 3 days in Boracay. During the day, the weather was fine but during the night, it was so cold and windy and we can even stay longer in the beach so we decided to stay at the bar to have some drinks then headed back to our hotel.

It was fun being with friends again. I can’t wait for our next adventure.
